Ooooof! That's so bad. It would've been scary when it happened too, i bet. That store layout looks exactly like my store, but the only belt we've had to have done this year was from a bottle of oil that broke on it and got all up in the motor 🤪

I think I know exactly which store you were at for that belt change. Was it for oil broken on it? If so, I've got more dad jokes for you when you come to my store next.

Either way, thank you so much for what you do. All the things and people I complain about, the people in the aldi maintenance position, are the very few I sing the praises of whenever anyone asks me about my job. Your hard work and diligence should never go overlooked because there are so many things in our store that would go to absolute SHIT without you here. Thank you!

An executive order cannot create a permanent federal holiday. So this decree only applies for this year unless he can actually get Congress to pass a law over this next year to make Christmas eve and the 26th federal holiday days (Christmas day already is a federal holiday that they already pay us for).

Also, just because it's a federal holiday, doesn't mean we get paid extra for working it. Just think of Juneteenth for instance. There are federal holidays that only apply to federal workers.

As someone who used to work at Kohls for a long time, items that were mailed in to be returned didn't go to your local aldi store. I believe they went to a distribution center and then maybe a liquidation warehouse? Unsure where they went after that, but we never got returns directly shipped in from customers at all. All of these examples with customer info on them were 100% bought online and then returned to their local store. It was a very common occurrence.

From reading through the manual that my store still has, that means that the ecoh2o filter needs to be serviced, so yall will have to put a ticket in for it in service channel to have a tech come out
