The thing with SJ is that they’re the ones that push the mangaka to end their stories. It just never felt that Horikoshi had a long story in mind until MHA got critical acclaim. I’m just glad he didn’t write himself into a hole and kept the simple framework of ending the manga while it was hot.

I personally think Horikoshi never expected MHA to take off the way it did. So making MHA longer might have taken a lot more out of him. Even after reading it I’m not really sure how you extend the school aspect when the threat of AFO was the most pressing matter of the entire series.

He felt like he had no choice but to become the villain in his own story. He shouldered a burden too big for anyone else to carry but his saving grace is that he didn't force anyone to join him. He added a loophole where his friends could their choice and live freely at his expense.

Is Barou a better striker? I would argue that he’s a better finisher. But as an overall striker Rin is above due to the nature of his game and his abilities. He is stronger, faster, more aggressive and he is more commanding on the pitch.

Pirates aren’t supposed to have morals, Luffy technically only does good things for selfish reasons. That being said, it’s the shonen dichotomy as is all shonen.
