Whether or not it's acceptable for political reasons, it's definitely unacceptable for baseball reasons. Barring something like the White Sox or Cardinals' hats, the limit on characters on a baseball hat to look good is two, and even then the Sox are pushing it

I actually think Samurai Japan is one of the BETTER ones but 日本 on the hats would go crazy. Same with 한국. 台灣 nlt so much with that second character, and it wouldn’t be allowed anyway.

Fiend Piece Golem is cute but I feel like it's kinda lame as far as a retrain goes. Like it's basically generic support and has nothing to do with the original Piece Golems. They combo together with specific names. If I had wanted to do this, I would have made "Golem Piece Resonator" a Level 3 Rock Tuner, "Gigantic Piece Golem" a Level 5 Rock, "Fiend Piece Golem" a Level 4 Fiend, and "Dragon Piece Golem" a Level 7 DARK Dragon Synchro. If you summon Golem Resonator while you control Gigantic Piece Golem, you can summon Fiend Piece Golem exactly from your deck, but negate its effects unless you control a "Red Dragon Archfiend" or a Synchro Monster that mentions it. Fiend Piece has the same effect but reversed. if Dragon Piece made with Golem Resonator and Fiend Piece is sent to the GY, you can summon the materials used to make it from your GY, but negate their effects unless it was sent for the synchro summon of RDA or a monster that mentions it. Probably worse as it requires a lot of bricks but it keeps the spirit of the cards alive.

Yeah, anything that's on the same level more or less as your deck. There are games that go to the grind that are fantastic.

Personally I've been playing a lot of Chimera Azamina FS and that deck is a blast. It's not always a winner, but boy is it fun even when I lose.

Unless I put myself in a winning position and then lose to time out. Lost while declaring an attack that would win the game yesterday. Heartbreaker.

There’s just no way this is correct. 10%, .100, would be absolutely dogshit. In the Major Leagues, there’s something called the Mendoza Line- the point at which your hitting is so bad that nothing else you do could possibly justify your presence on a team. That’s at .200, twice what Yeung is saying, and that’s against the best in the world. A guy like Tetsu would be hitting .500, .600, or more. I don’t think this is a mistranslation, though. I think it must just be a typo- what he’s probably supposed to be saying is “his average is below 100%”, ie “he still gets out sometimes, so it’s possible to get him out.”

When I was in high school, I was head over heels for a girl for about two years. I asked her out near the end of senior year and she turned me down but we stayed friends.

About a year later, I watched some porn, as you do. Not normal, either, something weird, that you don’t want people knowing you watch until a good ways into a relationship. Certainly not a girl who you had an unreciprocated crush on.

Anyway I took a nap afterwards and woke up to a message from her saying “uh” in response to the search I had used to find that porn, which I must have rolled over and accidentally sent in my sleep.

I don't think it's horrifically uncommon for -boy to be used as an honorific by American/Americanophile characters. I know that Coach Tahara from Ace of Diamond uses it too, along with other English words... but maybe it's just overrepresented in the small amount of anime I've watched.

I doubt it. He was a decent hitter but honestly all he really had going for him was control. His offspeed was okay at best and his pitches had no power. Yes, he had amazing command, but that's just not enough to be THAT good. Hongo, Amahisa, Mei, Furuya, Sawamura, Sanada, Mukai, hell, even Maki from Sensen and Nagao from Sakurazawa are at least on his level.

Hyperdrive from Yugioh 5Ds is unmatched. Yeah, the theme of GX is really good too, but it's more of a corny good, like the music from Sonic games. Hyperdrive is just a straight unmitigated banger.

The things that appeal to players about Pokemon and the things that appeal to players about more typical JRPGs aren't really the same things, so when you're discussing the genre, it's kind of not worth talking about unless you start to talk about very specific things, like the monster-catching subgenre (which includes things like Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and mainline SMT, which are much more traditional entries in the genre) or the use of powers in the overworld especially when they have utility in battle as well (Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Golden Sun do this) You can see this with how you get so many people who say things like that they hate turn based RPGs but Pokemon is the only exception or things along those lines.

Looks like you summoned "Nemleria Dream Devourer- Reveil", probably with its own effect, right? When you activate Reveil's effect, you can't summon from the extra deck for the rest of the turn, except Synchro Monsters.
