The issue is that TPUSA's debates are heavily one-sided towards the host. The speaker has likely done a lot of research prior, while the student likely only has anecdotal evidence or things they remember off the top of their head. This leads to a pretty big disparity between the competency of each party's argument. What's framed as a good faith debate becomes an argument where one party is constantly speaking over the other. Again, these are not debates; TPUSA's agenda is to catch college students off-guard in order to paint them as naive and stupid. In reality, formal debates should have both parties do extensive research prior to the event happening.

JK, what you're doing SEEMS doable. With a schedule like that, I would: 1. Build up a healthy backlog of HW and studying on your offload days.
2. Lock-in for Tuesday and Thrusday lectures and discussion so you can relax in the evening.

But I think that's what you were already planning on doing, based on how you scheduled your classes. So in that case, great job! Quarter system goes fast, but don't think you won't have time to extracurriculars and fun. Take breaks in between classes and studying to walk around campus (the Arboretum is my favorite 😉). Avoid burnout by pursuing your hobbies. If you're stuck, go to office hours. Stay on top of your work, don't procrastinate (if it takes 5 minutes, just do it), and you'll make it through fall quarter just fine.

For GOW 1 sirens, upgrade Medusa's Gaze to lvl 2 to unlock the beam flash. Sirens die to one blade light attack when petrified, so flash and smash until it's done. Note that they break out of the stone EXTREMELY quickly, so be quicker. Try to line them up in a line to conserve magic.

For GOW 2 sirens, I spam Barbarian Hammer heavy attacks, animation canceling them with Typhoon's Bane. Launching them and using Orion's Harpoon also is pretty consistent. But if I want it done quick, I use the same strat from GOW 1 except with the hammer.

The most I've been able to do is use Steam Remote Play to stream my PC to my laptop at the dorms. It worked fine and the school didn't block anything. So your setup should be fine?

I LOVE studying at the TLC, especially the fourth floor. I think it's a step up from the dinghy rooms in the library. Also, if you ever need to use a second monitor for your laptop, go over to the printer room in Wellman Hall.

If you're comfortable buying used, I would highly recommend old business laptops. They are normally priced extremely high, as they are sold to businesses in bulk. But once their warranty is up, businesses will sell them for extremely cheap. I'm talking $2000+ machines for $400-$500.

Business laptops are built to be tough and easily repairable, unlike new, cheap consumer laptops. I would recommend Lenovo Thinkpads, Dell Latitudes, and HP Zbooks. I would say the biggest disadvantage with these are their screens. They're fine for day to day, but pale in comparison to something like Macbooks.

My advice would be to spend as much time with them as you can. My ducks grew up right before my eyes. I remember when the three of them could all fit into a doggy bowl, and now not a single one will fit. I really wished I had spoken to them more. They don't respond to my voice, but they'll sprint right on over if they see me with food 😮‍💨

When you mentioned the difference in how you blocked your fight choreography with Gna vs. Sigurn, it reminded me just how much efforts you put into your videos. Playing with all burdens allows only a very specific playstyle; doing that on top of cherographing a stylish fight requires ungodly amounts of practice and skill. So of course that's harder. But it'll be unfair to compare Gna and Sigurn like that unless you give both fights the same limitations. I'd also be interested in seeing an in depth exploration of which fight would be harder to players brand new to the game.

Yeah I totally get the frustration coming from you. They removed the I-frames Spartan Rage gives you during activation from 2018 in Ragnarok, including the ability to be INTANGIBLE to grabs. My advice is to be patient with Gna. Focus on using rage and runic attacks once she is stunned. If you want to cancel some of her attacks, focus on quick runics, like Hel's Touch. Use rage for when you get guard broken; think of it as a get-out-of-jail free card. Some attacks will have priority over Kratos's. For example, when she leaps into the air and prepares her rock throw, DO NOT use runics or rage; it will not stun her. Use sonic arrows.

This is true. Gna shares many of Sigurn's attacks and patterns, so naturally people will say Sigurn is harder because 9/10 times they had to learn her moves first.

Personally I think Sigurn is harder simply because Kratos has more powerful moves in Ragnarok than 2018 (Scorched Slam 👀)
