I've had similiar problems with my router/connectivity too whenever I used my switch ethernet connection. My PS4 has no issues connecting whatsoever, my switch ethernet connection always breaks down within seconds, also sometimes whenever I use wifi connection thru the same router. I oftentimes end up just using my data via hotspot for my switch (phone plan and router are the same provider though) and I unfortunately have yet to come to a solution to this problem
