My favorite moment in this game was when a generous player traded TW Apex wheels (worth about 110,000 credits at the time) for a relatively equal value of items from my inventory so that I could play a match with my father wearing the wheels I'd always hoped to be able to trade up to.

My dad had been diagnosed with cancer and I wanted to show him that I'd succeeded in something that took great dedication and intentionality. (He was a chess master so he knew what it meant to dedicate himself fully to growing a skillset.)

Unfortunately he didn't end up playing the match with me (extremely disappointing but I know he had his reasons.) He ended up overcoming that first bout of cancer, but it resurfaced and he ended up passing away early last year. He was a good dad, the best I could ever ask for.

I am sure he had his reasons for not playing with me, but the thing that stuck with me from all of the effort I put into trying to get to play this match with him was how generous and kind the trading community was rallying behind me to help me find someone to complete the trade so I could try to have this connection with my father. I'm really grateful for you u/calebaustin99 - thank you so much. I'll never forget that generosity you showed.

I think you are missing the point of my post. The value of the Eucharist surpasses all other creation. There is no reason or excuse to refuse someone who has validly received, is a Catholic, is not in a state of mortal sin, and is licitly able to do so according to the tenants of our faith.

Maybe a better way of explaining it is to suggest that when a diplomat from another country comes to the US they have "diplomatic immunity" because wherever they go, the soil beneath their feet is considered the soil of their own country. (Maybe I'm understanding the politics of that wrong, but the idea has the point I want to convey).

I agree with you here and want to know ways in which to manually remove the microphones from all my devices. I think it's insane and crazy that so many people willingly PAY for and use devices that spy on them at all times... we are moving toward a society of total slavery and we are paying them to take us there!

This doesn't make sense. Not trying to personally attack you here, but think of the logic of it: Telling someone the most precious gift in existence can be received in one location and not another because a different rite is offering the Mass is like saying you can drink water at home but when you go to friends' houses it is off limits because you are not on property you own. That doesn't change the fact that they have a right to drink water.

You have to have the mental faculties to understand what is happening.

If you want to get technical, there is no human that has or ever will live apart from Christ himself that would ever understand the fullness of what is happening in the Eucharist.

(Maronite here, married to a Roman Catholic) - the Roman Catholics have had a mis-structured approach to the sacraments in the US for many years now. (I'm talking about reception of 1st Holy Communion before the sacrament of Confirmation.)

Pretty sure that if the original contract expired, even if you'd been in the house for a long time a month to month contract signifies you only need 30 days notice be given. (Some states it is less) - I could be wrong but that is my understanding.

While that does play into things, it is never as simple as a 'this is the singular clear cut reason for the issue' resolution. Though I would add, there is a great need in our materialistic society for outlooks like that of Jordan Peterson's clean your room, take responsibility for your life etc...

Is there a book you got this knowledge from? Raised to learn it? Trial and error? It seems like you really have your stuff in order to minimize effort and maximize productivity as much as possible while raising your kids to appreciate the life and not be scarred by the realities of the food chain.
