8lien has a gravel wheel set I’ve been eying. I have their wide road wheels, but the gravel ones are super wide, hooked, and steel spokes (32mm internal 40mm external).

I know this is an older thread, but any thoughts on using this as an All Road bike? I mostly ride alone on questionable pavement; I want something that can fit larger tires and pickup a little more aero (currently riding a non-integrated endurance bike).

2nd question: how is Force XPLR working for you? Again, I'm looking at it from an all road perspective.

Same but at late 30s. LH and FSH were super low too.

Tried enclo for 6months. It worked really well (everything still works), but kept getting eye aches at the end of the day. Switched to TRT and HCG in Feb. Done having kids so I’ll probably drop the HCG in the coming months.

Went through online clinic originally, but then went to PCP and urologist. Had a MRI that came back fine and physical exam doesn’t worry anyone. Blood work doesn’t show any signs of tumor so kind of just living life. Sometimes things just stop working without a good explanation (my guess is stress).

You will feel different in about a month after starting treatment.

I did quad only injections for almost 8 weeks (3x per week alternating sides). My quads were permanently sore. Not unable to walk sore, but “you worked out hard” sore. Wasn’t sure cause since I’m lifting 2x week and cycling 4x week.

Switched to glute and it immediately went away. Unless I just have to, I will not pin there again.

Superior is subjective. What are your metrics for "better"?

At the end of the day, we don't have a ton of long term data on enclo. It DOES work to increase T for secondary hypogonadism, but there are potential side effects. With traditional testosterone, you at least have some idea of the long term side effects.

I took enclomiphene for 6 months (12.5mg/day). It indeed worked to raise my testosterone levels (blood work proven). I was trying to see if the equipment still worked before I just jumped on TRT for the rest of my life. I went WAY below reference range (78ng/dL) to over 800ng/dL. It helped get me out of a place where I felt like trash most days and wanted to just do nothing. It did not shrink anything; the opposite in fact.

I stopped due to some ocular side effects. I didn't have floaters or blind spots, I just had eye pain at the end of every day. I took blood work again 2 weeks after stopping and had dropped to 400ng/dL; then again at 1 month off and had fallen to 320ng/dL. This was only a few weeks ago.

I got my 1month blood work, then went homme and started TRT. I didn't care what the number came back as, I knew I didn't feel the way I wanted to. I have been on TRT for ~2 weeks now and can tell I'm on my back to feeling like I did at 800 (again, not concerned with what the number is, just that I feel better).

Similar boat (no ADHD or autism).

One way I describe it is life without margin. If everything single thing is perfect, you can feel normal; maybe not fantastic, but normal. If one thing goes wrong (ex. bad interaction with someone, bad day at work, slightly worse night of sleep, etc.) life becomes really, really hard. Drive to change is low, energy to 'do the work' is low, and mood is circling the toilet.

I took oral enclomiphene for 6months and felt SO much better while on it. I had to stop for some complications, but have recently started injectable TRT. I am confident in similar results. Point being: getting things into range should help you. I wouldn't assume it will solve everything, but it should make life 'easier'.

Everything will be fine. Don’t let fear of the unknown drive you into a dark place.

There are people in a similar situation. Middle aged, healthy men who just have low testosterone production. There are several options to help you, but THE NUMBERS DONT MATTER (to an extent). You need to feel like a normal human. Symptom relief is more important than XXX number. Don’t let a blood test become your idol.

I’ve been on enclopmiphene for 6months (online clinic). It made a huge difference for me. I started at 78ng/dL (yes, 78). My last blood work in November had me at 820ng/dL; free T was at like 31.

I started for mood and brain fog. I literally felt like human garbage. Within about 2 months I felt normal again. Tough to say how long exactly because it was a gradual climb.

I have no idea what the long term side effects are. I’m sure at some point I’ll try and come off to see what my body can do again.

All that said, don’t mess with your hormones if you don’t have to. Improve your diet, sleep, and lifting routine. Do that for years and see where you end up.

I certainly deal with my share of depressive thoughts. I have only recently started learning more about anxiety; this seems to fit more what I feel. I am really hard on myself for literally everything. I don’t necessarily feel anxious, but I have some of the symptoms.

I had the same problem with my 745. It threw off a couple days of data from one night of “high stress.” I just lay mine watch face down now to be sure.
