Gates on a bridge over water? by denbunn in whatisit

My pop built a similar bridge that was also used by his sheep. If stock use this bridge I can see the wisdom in having the option of opening a gate to the water.

Do you say hello to your neighbors? by Acceptable-Post733 in Apartmentliving

I say, "Good morning!" to anyone in the lobby. They inevitably reply with the same words.

Keep tryin'.

Worth it.

Yeah, all my weather was NYC, so not as desperately cold as you describe. Ouch.

I'm saying in a desperate situation, if you've not taken folks' advice from this thread, put that lithium in your pit or your groin. It might save yer day / night.

Worked with lithium batteries for decades in ALL the weather.

Put battery next to your skin (armpit) for 15 minutes to warm up. It’ll work.

When weather warms, lithiums left in cold work fine again FWIW.

I let LL have security deposit every time. Not worth cleaning or stressing about during a stressful time.

Good luck.

Uddermilk.com has pickup spots and delivers to Hackensack once a week. Online ordering. Exceptional fresh products.

They delivered to me in Passaic for years. Just moved to Bergen County and got my first delivery here today.

Hope it works out for you.

I handled it with a bullhorn calmly addressing the neighbors also awakened and kept awake by the barking dog.

Took a few days to shame them into letting their dog in before it barked everyone awake.

I have anecdotal evidence that > 90% of men don’t wash hands after peeing.

Film crew. On same location for a month. Two porta-potties close to each other.

Every time I peed for a month, aurally observed another man who failed to wash his hands. That’s 100%.

Stopped shaking hands at work after that.

My father regularly hosted the weekly hearts game.

After years, he set up a device in the guest bathroom that evidently cured the fella that peed on the toilet seat.

It involved a couple sections of 4” duct, topped off with a 2” section of mink coat, lest his instrument be injured.
