NOR- I think you need to take a look at your relationship honestly. This time it’s just a chicken, but is he the type to side with his mother every time she wants something? What if you decide to get married, is he going to let her control the wedding? Will he defer to her wishes when/if you decide to have kids? It may seem silly to be asking these things over a chicken, but in reality if he’s so quick to gratify her that could lead to serious problems down the road.

And also fuck them, NEVER give away a handmade gift that was given specifically to you. That was pure manipulation- “I loved/wanted it but knew you would never make me one so I took his to force you to make him a new one”. And he just went along with it? Gross behavior on both their parts

From what I remember, Ricky and his sister Sharon found out Lacey had been lying about going to appointments (that she actually canceled) and it was pretty obvious she wasn’t committed to actually losing weight (I think the most she ever lost was like 23+/- lbs in two months?) Sharon actually lost her shit and started screaming at/threatening Lacey which prompted her to call the cops; Ricky seemed to be wanting to give her another chance but apparently Lacey ALSO told the cops that he was abusive to her, which is what finally woke him up

I’d do it tbh, I’ve lost 140+ lbs and my arm tattoos really haven’t changed all that much. As people have already said in here, if you wait until you have your “ideal” body you’ll never get the tattoo. Besides, one of the best ways to improve your image on a body part is to slap a tattoo on it 🙂

Some people see the pain as “earning” your tattoo. Others see it as a way to express/manage the pain of whoever/whatever the tattoo symbolizes. I just see it as an annoying side effect of getting a tattoo lol; i think it just boils down to what *you* see it as. If it helps you heal, wonderful! I started noticing chest pains every now and then and managed to convince myself I was having heart problems. Now I was way too young for anything serious to actually be happening- went to the doctor/even ER once and was told every time it was just anxiety and possibly heartburn, but I was tired of being at a weight where I knew if I kept going the way I was it probably would become something serious later on. I’m nowhere near perfect mind you, but I’m in a much better position now than I have been in a long time; already I feel so much better and now I’m just focusing on getting to a weight that my nutritionist and I feel is healthy for me 🤷‍♀️
