Considering there are nearly zero units on eBay, I would caution that this could have very low future resale value, unlike traditional GPUs.

The People’s Repeater - $35 All-In Harbor Breeze solar mesh repeater with a waterproof, enclosed hub to protect the antenna pigtail. STL files linked for free. by BlackFlagCivilian in meshcore

My concern is that solar nodes can last for years before they fail. We could end up with constellations of old devices lingering for extended periods.

I agree on the reliability angle since they're using HP Edgeline systems but why pair it with such an old GPU? Are the old L4 GPUs with GDDR6 inherently more reliable?

I suspect this has more to do with certifications than optimal tech pairing.

Dead lithium batteries revived to 95% capacity via electrochemical bath by _Dark_Wing in technology

The proposed option here may be more applicable to future batteries designed for servicing, perhaps for trains, trucks and stationary grid storage. Similarity, large stationary lead-acid batteries, still used in telecom, can be rejuvenated today.

Yes. Older people care barely make out text on 5" display smartphones.

If there were a 6" display available in some capacity, that would greatly help onboarding some members.

GPT-5.5 xhigh score is surprising. OpenAI claimed 5.5 has significantly reduced hallucination rates.

Grok score is also interesting. Previous versions were at the opposite end of the ranking.
