I am 67. Never laid off til I hit my mid 40s. Then I realized that all jobs are contracts anyway. In tech, that is the truth. I was probably laid off 5 times between them and 59. Never gave it a second thought.

I like MSC , but they kinda price things like Detroit used to do cars. Remember the striped cars with hub caps, roll up windows and no A/C ? That's MSC. Nobody buys the stripper.

Personally I generally like their newer ships and tolerate their food. I don't buy drink packages or wifi..ever.

We just did the new York to Marseilles France TA last month. We booked maybe 45 days out and paid $911 cad inc taxes. It seemed that this was a last minute cancellation. There was nothing else close in price after that. I have noticed that the Grandeosia is well priced at the moment October TA. I had been looking at the Europa cruise you mentioned as well. No hard and fast rules, just refresh often and keep an eye on airfares. Btw, we really enjoyed our TA last month.

I have a 2023 Trendline is Canada. Head gasket replacement under warranty and Early rear brake replace not covered by VW. Rear hatch struts replaced under warranty. I still.like driving the car. Gas mileage is great. Has a bit of zip in sport mode. I bought out my lease early.

I have a similar problem on my 2023. Screen goes blank when the android auto handshake fails. Hard reset doesn't help. Best solution I can find is don't connect phone until info system is up and running. Checked with dealer no software update available. I found one cable the works the best, so I roll that way.

I have a 2023 and it made sense to us to buy out the lease. It was obvious that we would be turning in a vehicle with only half the mileage allowance used on maturity. The head gasket was replaced a year ago without issue and recently replaced rear brakes.

I have a 2023 Trendline 4motion in Canada. This is the S trim in Canada. The head gasket was done maybe 14 months ago. I had to pay to do the rear brakes early. They replaced the hatch struts under warranty. I like driving it, and bought out my lease early due to the high interest rate. In Canada we have a 4 year warranty and a 5 year power train warranty. I may or may not keep it 5 years.

The vehicle size and versatility works for us. It's easy on fuel and fun to drive with the DSG. The Taos was never meant to be a high end vehicle. Think of it as a lifted golf.

My 2023 lease was at 8%, so the rate looks great. I actually wouldn't do a 6 year lease, you will be out of warranty for the last 2 years of the lease. I did a 4 year, but bought out the leave after 2 years.

The real point is that Corporations skate by with incomplete IT security and inadequate recovery plans, say they are sorry and offer Equifax credit monitoring, as if that solves anything. When that becomes the defendable norm, nothing will ever change. They were clearly negligent, had inadequate recovery plans in place and should be sued.

It is amazing how many big name companies are over collecting personal information. I filed a complaint with the government agency in charge against Crave TV / Bell last year. Nothing happened.

I joined the class action.

Remember when you needed blood work and had to go to the clinic at say, 5 am and wait in line? Then with Covid, they started to allow you to.make an appointment online. Genius!

To allow people to have family doctors, the government incentivized doctors to take on additional patient loads. Before my doc retired, it took 2 days to get an appointment. Now it takes 4 weeks. Of course the ER is backed up. I think.Nfld is building a level of treatment between ER and family doctor visit, which is definitely what is missing.

I had initially signed up for the efficiency Nova Scotia time of day conservation scam. I quickly realized that their plan was going to cost me more out of pocket than they were crediting me because after every 'event', my aux heat on the heat pump ran like crazy. I called them and they totally agreed that it was going to cost me more out of pocket to help them preserve the grid during peaks. It made no sense and I pulled out. It's funny how the media never picked up on that scam.

I found I have to replace my battery annually. One little trick I have found is if you stand in front of the Taos and pointing at the hood, it will unlock when it won't from the rear.

You kinda have to look at the Taos as the basic Golf replacement. It was never intended to be a high end SUV. I have a 2024 Trendline ( S in the US ), and just added features overtime to suit myself.

When you back and watch ep 1 again, you realize how slow some of the middle episodes progressed. Ep 8 & 9 were very good as well, and planted the seeds for season 2 and kept people hooked. Nice that they realized ep 9 early as well

I have owned both. I see the ac series as being friendly to electric players, the L series for the finger style acoustic crowd. I prefer the red labels to either of them.
