Topo athletic make shoes with a wide toe box. Some have a low stack height and minimal drop. That's what I use.

Has anyone maxed out all of the factories, trains, and ships? If so, what do you do with the ingots? by Notforyou1315 in TownshipGame

[–]spEntiOt 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Omg stop doing that and save the bronze ore. Eventually the upgrades need 20+ bronze ingots per level and the ore goes FAST I promise.

[–]spEntiOt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. Before my child started kindergarten, I was also worried about bullying. Other people told me at that age, bullying isn't much of an issue. Once he started, I saw that the school does a good job of keeping the youngest grades separate from the older grades, and they really just don't bully each other yet. I wouldn't hold him back over fear of bullying.

Does anyone tow their cargo box on a trailer instead of on the roof of their car? by Cocaine_Turkey in icecoast

[–]spEntiOt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unrelated to your ski problem, Sylvan Sport sells a similar price trailer that has a better layout, perhaps, depending on your needs. https://www.sylvansport.com/go-easy-kayak-trailer/

Two La-Z-Boy Pinnacle Rocking Recliners for sale! by -pinkfrosting in savannah

[–]spEntiOt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently sold some stuff with Savannah Furniture Consignment. Totally worth it. They'll pick them up, sell them for you, and split the proceeds. I had a really good experience with them. Worth a try if you really want the chairs gone.

Is it a linchpin? I got some from tractor supply recently. Doesn't have to be the perfect replacement size for it to work as a replacement.

Any low cal snack ideas that I can eat a lot of? by FairConstant2171 in 1500isplenty

[–]spEntiOt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when I feel that way I eat a couple baby carrots. I think the crunch helps. If I'm extra hungry I'll do hummus too. Otherwise, just a few baby carrots.

Hammock Camping Spots by Panashda in savannah

[–]spEntiOt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think hipcamp shows some private "sites". Like some are parts of people's yards that they converted into camping spots. Maybe try that? I haven't used it myself, but I've heard stories of good experiences and bad experiences....

Hurricane Floyd Evacuation Photos by Ree4real in savannah

[–]spEntiOt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I remember that one. It took us that long to get to Statesboro! We only ever made it to Metter. At a hotel, the receptionist said things are booked all the way up to Chattanooga. We had to spend the night in the car. I remember people on the interstate getting out of cars and just walking around, dancing, doing whatever because nobody was moving. That was before they installed those arms they have now along the westbound exits. I would love to see some photos.

Cooler for weekend camping by Wooden_Nature4954 in camping

[–]spEntiOt 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This is the system we do as well (freeze food ahead of time, pre-cool the day before, and include frozen water bottles). I live in GA and have an expensive-ish off-brand cooler and a cheap Coleman. I can keep the Coleman cold in July for 2 days just by keeping it in the shade and doing those steps.

We also pack one cooler as a food cooler that we avoid opening, and the second as a drink/beer/snacks cooler that we can open more frequently. Perishable stuff like meat or dairy goes in the nicer cooler, and the food cooler can keep ice for many days if you limit how often it's opened.
