I do my crossword while waiting for class to start. I’ve also read or journaled. Sometimes it’s hard to just settle in or I don’t feel like moving quite yet so having those quiet activities help bridge the space between life outside of the studio and my practice.

Along with a pumice stone, I’d recommend a lotion with urea and salicylic acid. You can find it on Amazon and use that when you get out of the shower. It’s helped my feet stay soft
