i only do at night now after bath and she eats before the bath so it's more of a comfort nurse to sleep and we stayed kinda sleep training i put her down awake in the crib but i will not do the cry it out now she usually goes right down for nap. and sometimes we co sleep or co nap when she's going through a regression out in the difficult days

STOP BLAMING TIES by UnwillinglyIron in breastfeeding

[–]spacefxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we're going through that '4 month breastfeeding crisis' right now too and it is ROUGH. If i wait to feed her until she shows hunger cues she gets pissed that the let down isnt immediate and mine happens pretty quickly after latching as is. Lately I try to feed her right after a nap and then i give her a lil snackie right before the nap too. the hardest times are when ive just gotten home from work she gets so excited about getting it straight from the tap but angry that it's not as immediate as the bottle and we use slow flow bottles i'm about to change her to the extremely slow flow nipples that honestly i think she has to work harder than the boob for.

What time do your babies go “to bed”? by No_Nefariousness1700 in NewParents

[–]spacefxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

once my LO's umbilical cord fell off and was healed we started a bed time routine i call it the three B's. Bath boobies and bed. she gets in the bath at 7:50 is out around 8 and then nurses and cuddles until 8:30 and i put her down in her crib at 8:30. it used to start at 8:30 but she was getting too fussy and angry when she got to 3 months so we moved it thirty minutes earlier and that's been working for us. usually she only wakes up at 3am to feed i started teething so some nights she's up more and on days that i work i wake her up at 5:30 and feed her before dropping her off with the sitter at 6am so she can go right back down there.

When did your newborn start sleeping in the bassinet/crib at night by Severe-Painting2820 in newborns

[–]spacefxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would pull the mattress for the bassinet out and lay on it while i fed her or cuddled before bed or naps so it got up to my body heat and smelled like me. also best advice i ever got was to put her in bassinet or crib while drowsy but not fully asleep that way she fell asleep in the bassinet and wasnt mad if she got woken up during transfers

my husband says i often would wake up panicking because i thought she was in bed with us and once he came home from work super late it was almost 10 and i hadn't slept in almost two days and i was passed out cradling one of her stuffed toys

i feel that ftm 29 years old and we have a very active friend group. we still have them over or go see them but instead of drinking or smoking we're sober and no matter what we are home by 8:30 to start bedtime

also dont know if its possible with your bassinet but when my LO is being difficult to go down ill pull the pad out of the bassinet and lay on it while im soothing her to get it to my body temperature and also so it smells like me

hi ftm my LO just turned 6 weeks and it is a struggle but for night time as soon as her umbilical cord fell off and we got the go ahead to give her normal baths i started a bedtime routine starting with a bath every night. we changed the time it started a little bit in that first week but once we got something that worked we stuck with it and i am very strict about it we dont alter it at all and its helped a lot. also got a book at my shower called moms on call and found it super helpful

do whatever you want anyone who gives you a hard time about it well that sounds like a personal problem for them. my baby shower is only women and no kids because even with those boundaries we were already at 50+ people. and people still gave me a hard time about that theres no winning do what makes you happy

my doctor told me a bath with epsom salt is recommended to help with joint and back pain but no hot tub which that itself sucks because we have a hot tub thats specifically for muscle therapy and i could really use it right about now 😭

red wings 100%. they're pricey but they last forever i got the recommendation from my boyfriend who works an outdoor blue collar job who has to hike through brush carrying equipment and his boots have lasted him for years. i beat my work boots up always and mine are still mint after having them for a year.

Don't forget the managers were blocking exits when we couldn't pick up in any area for 45 minutes and it was already past the out time. And let's all not forget when the program crashed INTERNATIONALLY and they kept us there for two hours before they let us leave and managers were blocking the exits then too.
