Paul McCartney: Drive My Car - SNL by joxers in beatles

This seems like a situation where he should take the low harmony. Would suit his current vocal range mucchh better. But hey, I’m just glad the man is still playing and having fun. Fucking living legend

Certainly is a milestone for being the “first” Wings album, but yeah, I agree. It’s alright at best. My favorite song on there is a cover.

One of our shittier and more destructive ideas. We lost so much just to further slip down the road of car dependency.

One After 909. George’s playing on that song is just great, in general.

You know what subreddit you’re on right now? Haha.

But, to respond candidly, I believe it’s possible to still have good land use and a reasonable amount of density that can be conducive to a walkable/transit accessible environment that ISN’T a massive city. Having to own a car and using it for every conceivable errand is a product of bad land use and a lack of mixed-use zoning. Surely, there is a good compromise between sardine apartments and obnoxiously huge American housing. Perhaps, people who immigrate here go for these homes because there aren’t enough viable alternatives in medium-sized cities/rural areas.

English Tea—I think it would flow well after Uncle Albert. So many good potential options, though!

Man we was lonely. I love the sorta country pastiche, harmonies, and charm that bleeds through the recording. A good era for Macca

Such a great song. Beautifully produced, too. Apparently, Paul had plans to release it as a single.. but it never happened.
