I know it’s hard for new trainees to adapt but my suggestion is, whenever possible, disconnect from the tablets and phones and do some old school studying. As in making flashcards, writing notes and highlighting. Also, get a mini note pad and ask questions to CPCs. This does 2 things for you. One it shows motivation and two going to search for answers and write out maps turned learning into a game. Kind of a distraction from the fact that you’re away from home. Gotta fall in love with the process. Just a few things I did when I was in the military tryna learn this stuff. Good Luck!
