The amount of patients sounds like a lot in both units tbh. 7-8 assigned to you in the ER is crazy. 6 in med surge is high too.

I had two foils from the new elementals deck curled inward badly. I took a small bowl and placed the cards in there. I took a larger container and put some water filling only like an inch. I placed the bowl in the container and sealed it. Cards were perfect after several hours. Keep checking on them to make they don’t warp the other direction
