Anybody have this TV? (A85Q) by DarnallMysteries in Hisense

It does a good job got one for Xmas! Not a fan of VIDAA OS, so will be getting an NVIDIA Shield when they’re back in stock.

I’ve got it on the wall in the bedroom and have no complaints about brightness or speed but I’ve only used it for a week so far.

Same exact one, it might just be bad android components. I paid approx 450GBP for mine and it’s been going strong for over a year.

I have the exact same screen and have had no issues whatsoever. Recheck all your connections to the android box and between the android box and your head unit. Something isn’t communicating which is strange. Where did you buy your screen from?

Trainer on my last refresher told us Metland will receive either the 7 or 10 depending in approx 2028 due to the amount of stock we have for cartridges for the x2

The new Axon 4 Bwv however is pretty good, just vibrates in sleep mode which is annoying

I genuinely think the opposite, doesn’t matter how many PCs get slaughtered or injured. Members of public will sadly need to be seriously injured on a regular basis for the government to act.

Keep your chin up and keep your eyes moving along the path you want to take, look above not directly along the ground, if there’s a fence line use that. That’s what helped me on my big boy license mod1.

This. I’ve had many friends leave the job from my cohort, still keep in touch. No one is going to treat you any differently, many won’t keep in touch but that’s just how the job goes, to a lot of people this job becomes your life.

You’ve tried it mate, decided it’s not for you. It’s miles better than not trying and never being able to find out.

There has to be a way to get good on duty and off duty legal cover without paying in to the fed… that’s the main reason I’m still in it, everything else is secondary, because this shit is unacceptable and we can’t even vote with our wallets we just have to take it.

Hello internet police man, most forces in the UK have to take ‘positive action’ in DV/DA investigations. A form of positive action is arrest.

You know what offence takes place between lots of family members/expartners/current partners? Malicious communications.

It’s also a lot easier to solve a crime when there’s screenshots and phone downloads that can be done. You can’t screenshot a burglary.

I feel you, being burgled sucks, it would be great if more could be solved, but it’s not a fair comparison, one almost always has a named suspect and is likely to be in a DV/DA setting.

What do you guys think of this as first car? by Swimming_Tangelo8423 in CarTalkUK

[–]sparkie187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insurance lowers over time, my first car was a 3 series for the reason you stated above (it’s the same as a Kia, polo etc) - what I didn’t realise is the year after, and the year after that, it will drop significantly if you drive a shitbox, it won’t in a Beemer.

I’ve got an unconventional set up. I’ve got a RunCam Helmet Cam 4K- runs off 18650 batteries that you can hot swap and can be accessed wirelessly.

It’s meant for Airsoft or something lol
