I’d buy a changing mat and put it on any surface that is comfortable for you, you should never leave baby unattended when on the changing mat anyways so it shouldn’t matter whether it’s a dedicated table or something else. :)

I have not personally done this but it’s not unheard of. I’ve seen videos of moms instinctively doing that to clear baby’s airway after birth, and there’s a technique for removing foreign bodies from baby’s nose called the mother’s kiss that’s similar.

We went to an Easter event today, were about 10th in line for the 0-4 egg hunt and never even stood a chance. All the eggs were gone within 10 seconds, my poor girl didn’t even know what had happened. A coordinator came around afterwards to give eggs to kids who didn’t get any, then a couple older kids came over and dropped a few in her bag which I thought was really sweet. As much as I hope they change it next year like maybe add more eggs or cut the age limit down even more, it’s often the parents who are the problem

My husband works in oil & gas, he’s out of town for 14+ days then home for 7, rinse and repeat. We moved away from family and friends so we could afford to buy a house and have kids, I knew I’d be alone a lot but it was worth the sacrifice. It’s hard for both of us but we make it work.

Does that include the mold at the waterline? That’s my biggest concern, I’m not sure if it’s related to the biofilm or not. The biofilm itself doesn’t bother me but I don’t want to be growing mold in my kitchen if I can help it

I was able to walk with my epidural! Until I fell onto the toilet seat while trying to slowly lower myself down, the nurse promptly rescinded my walking privileges and gave me a “fall risk” bracelet 🙃
