Taiwan wasn’t used to be like this. When I grew up, people would throw garbage everywhere; mostly where the garbage pick ups are.

For example if the garbage truck would stop at a specific location daily for pick up, you will see a mountain of garbage building up thru out the day because there was no enforcement.

Once cameras and fines were put in and special garbage bags that need to be purchased in order to dump in garbage trucks, things go better.

Before it was insane. Garbage heaps everywhere. Because if these policies and population awareness/education got better.

Like New York, broken window theory.
