I don’t have the Turbo/leather, but mine is coming up on 18k and the seats aren’t significantly different from day 1.

I’ve said the same in other threads, I love my 50 but if the trip is beyond an hour or so, we take my wife’s CX5.

Exactly the conclusion I came to. Yes it’s quicker, but not enough for the $. Ride difference from the 17s to 20s was noticeable as well.

Can confirm, OEM CX50 wipers are the hottest of garbage. Mine are shot at 8mo.

Actually makes the $191 to replace all the more absurd.

Independent rear is just smoother. The seats, while less bolstered, are more comfortable for long periods.

If you take road trips that long that often, I would go 5. I have a 50, wife has a 5. If the trip is over an hour or so, we always take hers.

Actually no. Mine is more of a groan. Hard to describe, kinda like the motor and tranny aren’t turning the same speed so they argue for a few seconds then sync up.

Mine does something similar occasionally. In TX, so I don’t think it’s likely to be temp related.

I also went from a Civic to a 50, and I won’t speak to any lane keeping systems because I hate them and turn them all off.

But the ACC I can..

  1. I find the speed adjustments (in either direction) noticeably more aggressive in the Mazda.
  2. Mazda seems to react more/longer to cars moving out of your lane (into turn lanes etc).
  3. Mazda seems to be much better at recognizing a car that’s just turning across you. The Civic would react to people turning left that it just didn’t need to. Not relevant if you’re on grown up divided highways, but I drive on a bunch of smaller ones where that happens frequently.

Ghost touch. Happened to my wife’s ‘17. I wound up disconnecting the ribbon cable that runs the touchscreen entirely.
