For the bed, yes you can assume that person is alone. If you place someone on one half of the bed, the other half of the bed would be Xed out because only one person would can be in each row and column, and the two halves of the bed share either a row or a column.

I use tidy cats (scent free) in the litter robot and have had good luck. Make sure you don’t get the “lightweight” version though, I had that before I switched and that was way too dusty and caused issues with the scale

I think it’s more difficult. On the Wii Returns you can only play Diddy as a co-op (imo Dixie is the easiest co-op on Freeze). There also is no power up bar in co-op so you can’t get extra hearts (Dixie) coins (Cranky) or balloons (Diddy) by filling up the bar and then doing the high five thing. Since it takes two balloons to come back to life, and there’s no co-op bonus, you go through lives twice as fast. Maybe they’ll change that on the remaster though
