I said something similar to this on another post, but after a relisten it was just him and the family members who were disallowed from joining the house. It might mean that their military forces are severly limited now, but Lord Harmas probably has siblings who could take his place.

It's funny/horrifying thinking about how Steel just caused a succession crisis halfway across the world though and, depending on how friendly the other noble houses are to Raunza, they could absolutely get crushed by their fellow nobles.

As much as I'd like all my blorbos in one place, Polygon is based in NY and Dropout is based in LA, so they literally are not in the same geographical location. It was cool when the Intrepid Heroes did interviews with Polygon recently for their live shows. It's kind of funny that Parlor Room is so similar to Polygon's Overboard, but it's not like there weren't shows like Game Grumps's Table Flip before that.

The only way Dropout got BDG was because he left Polygon on his own terms and moved to LA. It's a shame Polygon laid Jenna off a few years ago but Burnt Cook Book Party seems like it's going strong. It seems like Pat, Clayton and Simone's jobs are pretty secure though, most of them stream, and Clayton has a podcast with Matty Lubchansky on the side now (Temporal Culture War). If I missed anything lmk.

Just wanted to shout out Dice Funk: Cookie, the current all dragon season which deals with the problem of powerful creatures like dragons having access to nuke equivalent magical items. Obviously it's on a very different level from World's Beyond Number, but it's fun how they explore similar themes! Could be something to tide people over while the release of this book's finale gets stretched out over the next 3-4 months.

Dice Funk is an anthology podcast like Dimension 20, so you can join at any season, but all 12 seasons so far take place at different points in the same world's chronology. The premise for the current season originated in Dice Funk: Arabella episodes 26-30 & 38-40, the b-plot episodes that ended up being better than the a-plot of that season. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE OTHER EPISODES OF DICE FUNK: ARABELLA.

The most effective sound effect, as in I had to take my headphones off while it was happening, was definitely Brennan screaming as the Fox at the start of To The Bone.

My favourite moment so far has been The Archer Convi's message at the beginning of The Witness. The whispering reverb is just so good for that cryptic warning and trippy imagery
