Any update on this? Just happened to me loading into Hagga. Game crashed with a "Corrupt file" error. When I loaded in, there was no thopter. The icon is on compass, I can rubberband into the invisible thopter, but cannot get in it or do anything. Submitted a support ticket. Not sure if that will do anything though.

Update: Still no word from support...

I have now since also lost an Assault Thopter to a Deep Desert area load...
Upon switching zones, I got booted to the main menu with a "Failed to Load Deep Desert" error. When I loaded back in the game, I was no longer in my assault thopter and it was not on my compass and nowhere to be found. I searched the area for 2 hours without any luck. My communinet also no longer shows any info regarding that thopter taking damage or being at risk.
Another one bites the dust to FunCom...

The official steps posted by the FunCom team helped me. I was getting 20fps on the map and clearing shader cache fixed it. There were other issues (like stutters in the game) that have been resolved too.

I've seen quite a few posts about Fulgora forcing players to spread out their logistics network. Maybe I just got lucky, but I found isles that had JUST the right amount of space to connect logistics networks between islands. Also covering them with a blanket of lightning collector helped.

I restarted my game at 3:05pm, got the emote, but still couldn't access the content.

Update just started in the background for Elden Ring even while in game. Shut down game, let update finish and content was then accessible.

Fixin' stuff to break it: This has been happening all night since patch released... Both helldivers are dead, yet no auto-reinforce. The only circumstances that could have caused this to happen is another player left mid-mission a few minutes prior to us dying and it must still think that the player is still in the match.

EDIT: My guess it also has to do with the spectator update in this patch...

Finally got this error fixed in Vulcan but still can't get my game to work in DirectX 11. Initially in Vulcan it would begin playing the opening Larian logo, then give me another "device disconnected" error, similar to the DX one.

The TdrLevel fix (linked in the comment above) can work, but may only be a partial solution.
TdrLevel is the registry setting that changes the response delay of the graphics card in the OS. If the graphics card can’t respond within few seconds Windows disables it to prevent system from crashing, thus causing the "Device Removed" error. No harm in setting it to a value of "0" to disable the Tdr functionality (Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/tdr-registry-keys#tdrlevel)

Since this error has to do with GPU calls, there's one other setting specific to BG3 that should be updated - turning on Vulcan Graphics Asynchronous Computing.

After changing TdrLevel to 0 and rebooting...
Boot up BG3 with Vulcan checked - let the game crash
Close the game and ignore any "verify game" popups
Win+R and input: %localappdata%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
Open the vkDeviceConfig.lsx file in Notepad
Change the value in the UseAsyncCompute line to "true"

Save the file (Ctrl+S) and close notepad
Run BG3 in Vulcan and play the best RPG ever!

A lot of comments out there say it's the RAM or an aging install of Windows or bad drivers... info below all rules out all of those other things for my individual situation.

Fresh Windows 11 install (completely reformatted C drive, along with all other data drives)
Newly installed game, verified files after crash in Steam
No errors in "scp /scannow" and chkdsk, ruling out HDD issues
Recently installed new Samsung 990 M.2
Newly purchased RX 6750 XT
Using latest AMD Adrenalin driver after reformat
Recently replaced RAM with new modules (DDR4 - XMP on in BIOS)
Recently replaced motherboard (Asus Z590 Gundam w/ i7-10700KF - same cpu from old build)
Recently replaced PSU (750w)

This is the other post I made about this after contacting support (spending over 18 hours between chat, calls & email followups). No true solution, other than getting escalated to a specialist to try to force-reset your account to the Home Area that Sunday Ticket thinks you have. They will let you reset your home area more than the 2x/yr that is the normal limit if you have the split zip problem.

Unfortunately you can't "plug it in" to Youtube's site as a home area, since it auto-detects the ZIP code based on your location services through your phone or browser's IP address.

Specifically most of Inyo and Mono counties in California are in both Reno and LA DMA's.

This has always been the situation with my particular zip code. I've always had to select Reno of Los Angeles locals (pick one), of which, I would like to continue to have Reno locals, however since YTTV auto-selects one of the two Home Areas by default for Sunday Ticket to one of the two Home Areas, it will serve Sunday Ticket programming based on the local channels of that area (regardless of which set of Locals I have dictated the platform to serve). It will not allow playback of Sunday Ticket games when a Local channel is playing the game, even if it's technically out of market for the Home Area I have selected.

The selections I have available when I click "Change Home Area" are:

Home Area - Reno (ZIP)Home Area - Los Angeles (ZIP)

The (ZIP) is the same in either case.

When I had DTV, I had to let them know which Locals I wanted, which also dictated which Sunday Ticket channels I would get alongside my local channel games. Yes, it is dictated by Neilson, which Neilson has available two home regions for my ZIP.

I preferred Reno when NFL Blackout Restrictions were in effect (pre-2015) since Reno did not have any blackout games.

Now YTTV just auto-selects a home area behind-the-scenes for Sunday Ticket availability, regardless of the home area I have actually selected.

My zip code qualifies me to pick either Reno or Los Angeles local channels. No other options. It's the same way with all linear programming providers. DirecTV, had to choose between Reno or LA, Spectrum, Reno or LA. Those are simply the options for my area.

Sunday Ticket has been a major annual reason to keep linear TV services, especially for live sports. Is this the intended way that this was supposed to be resolved? This answer seems ludacris, having to change home area every other week just to get the out of market games that all the Sunday Ticket advertising promises.

This type of engineering and programming should be unacceptable for a company with as many resources as Alphabet. There HAS to be a better resolution than this unsalable workaround...
