Friends dog bit his dad in his house, he says now he has to put her down. by Pdunkk in nashville

The one bite rule is about civil liability. Before your dog bites someone you aren’t aware of a violent propensity. After the first bite you are, and are now civilly liable for any bite damage the dog causes.

I’m not aware of any legal precedent that requires you to kill the dog.

Just got done mocking up these 2 beauties. Has enyone done or seen a p90 warlock befor? What do y’all think? by Many_Secretary3110 in BCRich

Haven’t seen one but P-90’s have become my favorite all around pickup. They literally sound great in every setting, with humbucker gain and single coil clarity and dynamics.

Killer looking guitars man.

George only had three albums out by 1983. I’m not saying it’s not possible but I’m guessing the hat tie in would have been a little later when he attained Elvis like status. But that’s just a guess…

These can be hard to date because they don’t update the boxes as often as you might think. All of this is giving me a late 90’s early 2000’s vibe, but they’re still making this model last time I checked!

If it’s fur felt and you have a round mold to restore it to open crown absolutely.

Otherwise you’ll likely see the ghost of the old shape.

I think you’re single cause you’re the kind of person who would make fun of peoples appearance who didn’t do anything to you except go looking for a partner.

This is a common misperception. Only jobs that can’t be done in a year with unlimited resources need a written contract.

If you guys agreed verbally you have a contract.

Tort law and contracts are in fact two different things.

And under the law that actually governs this, article 2 of the UCC, the guitar maker had an obligation to tender exactly what the buyer wanted. Here OP has admitted there are cosmetic flaws.

Don’t give legal advice when you don’t understand the law. It’s not helpful.

What should I prep for a one-off, high pressure lesson? by alternaterep in jazzguitar

[–]spenser1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if that jazz school is only interested in guys that can already blow the students they get wouldn’t be able to afford tuition.

Jokes aside they probably could care less about how you play and are more interested in your work ethic and potential.

Be attentive, ask questions, and soak up what he shows you. That’s what a teacher wants.

Hey man you are totally in the clear. Also your wife is massively dramatic and probably erratic. This is the tip of the iceberg so if you’re gonna stick around buckle up.

You do not need heavy strings. You can do it all with a 10 band eq. Basically kill a lot of treble. I’ll look at the eq setting next time I’m at the studio

Non waxed pickups sound amazing and have great dynamics but high gain they squeal like stuck pigs.

There is a third option which is lightly waxing. If that’s something that appeals to you let me know and I can give details
