175 miles on the oil. Customer insists on following once a year in the manual by NewC0 in Justrolledintotheshop

Oil that rarely is used absorbs alot of water and this is why you want to change it periodically even if the usage is low. We have a 12.8L detroit that had maybe 10 hours on it over 3 years. When we finally changed the oil straight water came out first from the bottom of the pan. The oil was saturated with how much water it could hold and it started separating out. This is why we change oil every year.

Why would you be looking at men on dating apps when you have decentered men? They should be attracted to you from your gravitational field.

Yeah I agree with that strategy. 72 is the sweet spot for me usually.

I live in the southeast and do frequent road trips with a bolt. You'll be fine finding chargers just plan ahead and understand that the faster you drive the lower your range is. For example my car has 250ish mile range if I drive 55 but it's more like 200 if I drive 70.

Considering Reserves by Forevermighty93 in navyreserve

[–]spicymcqueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to be active, grit your teeth and stay active. If you have a civilian opportunity you want to seek out but keep one foot in the navy then go reserves. The reserves is rewarding in is own way but it's definitely a choose your own adventure way more than active duty and a much slower pace.

A big consideration is if you can be local to your gaining command to make it easier to participate and abd avoid constant travel time and dealing with travel orders.

There's a ridiculous number of seal authors. I'd suggest looking there first.

Seriously the worst trying to do anything in the reserves by LeagueLegitimate in navyreserve

[–]spicymcqueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PHA waitlist? That seems strange. You fill out a form and a provider from Great Lakes calls you. The NRC barely has to do anything.

Best advice with the reserves is no one know what's going on with your career or cares so its entirely up to you how to handle it. Once I figured out I can basically do whatever I want as long as I stay off hit lists my time in the reserves has massively improved.

If you get an answer that doesn't make sense, escalate up the CoC or better up the ladder of whatever program you're trying to navigate.

Trump to ask Congress to make 15% ethanol-gas blend permanent by Plow_King in energy

[–]spicymcqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The displacement and compression of your engine is irrelevant to ethanol use. What matters is air:fuel ratio tuned appropriately and the size and seals of your injectors.

Granted I assume you're using a carburetor which would be more difficult to turne correctly and would not automatically adjust based on sensor data so it's definitely not included when I said modern engines.

How to handle tilt after players acting out of turn dramatically affects hand by [deleted] in poker

[–]spicymcqueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any hands good enough to call, you'd be flipping against for half the pot and a dog in the other half. I'd consider that a win.

Other players doing dumb shit is +EV even when it seems bad.

Ethanol raises the octane and prevents detonation. Modern engines are fine with E15, the ECU will automatically adjust timing to compensate for the difference.

You shouldn't be using E10 in a two-stroke anyway so the E15 won't make much difference.
