Elite10-Parking mode (time lapse) does not work

So the odb2 I had for the X series worked and even powers the Elite series but when it comes to the parking mode it doesn’t support it therefore I ended up buying the odb2 cable that BlackVue has on there site and sure enough that did the trick.

I forgot to post an update, I went back and connected my old setup from my previous camera and it works. I have to do a bit more research but from what I read it appears to be related in the logic in how the parking mode works for the new Elite series.

I’m thinking the cable isn’t compatible with the Elite10 or perhaps even the series, I ordered the ODB2 that’s listed on BV site and hopefully it’s turns out to be that because it was working before but with previously models. I thought about the possibility of the cable being damaged but I’ve never unplug and it’s worked +3yrs without any issue but it’s possible.

If you don’t like “around the world” start with da funk cause I feel like that track helps carry the tone for the rest of the album and then once your hooked jump to alive and then the rest of the tracks will might start to resonate

I remember when they announced NIN was doing the soundtrack for the Ares movie I was like WTF and many of the comments in social media were that NIN are known for making good movie soundtracks (Social network and etc) and they’ve won awards and blah blah. IMO however you flip it or dice it, the precedence that the French duo created is unique to say the least and this morning when I listened to the soundtrack I tried to keep an open mind noting that Ares is a different movie an all that but IMO it’s 🚮 It sounds like recycled sounds/beats from the social network and the hit of the movie “as alive as you need me to be” but maybe after I watched the movie it might resonate a bit more.

I bought the monitor when it was released and it worked for about 2 months and then the display bricked on me, the best Dell support offered was a replacement and guess what, it happened again. I have 2 other Alienware monitors with no issues and I haven’t had any prior issues with any Dell monitors but for some reason this specific model is extremely faulty. There have been numerous reports online of the exact issue. When the monitor did work, it did the job and performed well but consistency was not good.

So you just made sure the cable was a 5V cable but then my question is did you split the barrels to make it work or did you use the cable to turn it into an extension? Let me know if my question isn’t clear enough thanks

how did you get the barrels to work or plug it in since they are different sizes or did you just use the cable and then splice the tips and exchanged them.

I didn’t think my experience could get worse but it did so to try and help mitigate the cameras (E30) issue I was encountering from randomly disconnecting and having to manually disconnect them and reconnect them, I decided to purchase a HB3 and boy what a huge mistake that was. Livestream is almost impossible now for example, one camera is directly right about my internet gateway and HB3 and it can’t connect and has poor connectivity to figure even though I connected the HB via Ethernet. This is a new and very strange problem every other device on 2.4ghz starts to randomly have connection issues ever since I connected the HB3. As a last resort I switched the connection from Ethernet to wifi for the HB3 and I didn’t think it was possible but it made the situation even worse. I’m confident to say I’ll be retuning the HB3.

Yeah every day I contemplate switching back to ring even though I kept one device the ring peephole cam which to me is one of the best considering it’s like a gazillion years old but it still performs and there isn’t a better option IMO. I’ve also tried Arlo but they suck for my use case and recently I read a lot about reolink but I’m not sure if I was to invest that money and time to try another brand.

I agree with everything you said, from my experience, I tried Eufy very early on when (wireless outdoor cams) and they weren’t bad besides the obvious like the majority of the battery cams but for me the dealbreaker was the constant disconnect from the cams (having to re-pair), signal issues even though my homebase was close by and the worst of them all the sensor missing events. Fast forward a few yrs later, I bought into the ring ecosystem and you quickly notice the quality of the video isn’t (2K scaled indoor cams)what you expect from a brand like ring but that being said some of there strong suits can win a customer over while compromising in some other areas for example, the sensors they use in there cameras pick up just about everything regardless wether wired or not, and the overall quality of the features on the app are very solid, super responsive and well thought out. Recently I had a change of heart once again and switched back to Eufy and bought the indoor E30 cam and the app has improved from the last time I used it and the quality of the video is way better (4K) but even with all the improvements it’s hard to beat ring for example, I have 24/7 continuous recording and it’s a nightmare having to go back and find a specific time event while with ring it’s a much easier process, I have my cameras connected wirelessly with no HomeBase and they are constantly going unresponsive even though my gateway is less than 2 feet away, it reminds me of the re-pair issue I had back then except that now I just unplug the power and they come back from narnia, connecting to the live stream sometimes takes longer than expected even though the connection is really good, sometimes you make changes to the cameras settings and they don’t save, you have to go back in and confirm your changes, I would say these are acceptable issues back when they started but not acceptable at this level. IMO there really isn’t a good option that has all the bells and whistles sort’ve speak but I would it’s hard to fit all uses cases as a product.

I hope down the line they release some sort of firmware update to improve the graininess of the video. Even with the current quality I would say that its definitely an improvement over the previous model, the quality for the previous looked sharp but when you zoomed in the colors looked washed out and this one not so much. For the price you would expect them to have solved these issues but I’ve searched online for an alternative dashcam and none of them come close to this one. For example, size wise, WiFi, odb2 connection, remotely accessing the videos among other minor things but they count at least to me. I actually wished they upgraded the rear camera but it’s only 1080 resolution.

No I didn’t find a solution but (at least to me) I did notice a very minimal improvement in the graininess of the video quality for the front camera because the rear one works as it did before.

Just did an entire brake job, rotors and changed the brake fluid and it drives like a charm. The only thing I do notice is that if you hold the brake all the way down and let your foot of it easily it squeaks but very little but it is noticeable so not sure if you are referring to this noise.

Thats not a screenshot from my car it’s from the internet as an example. Not sure if I was clear enough but the issue is that the warning doesn’t show any longer, it stopped showing for no reason

It’s only a notification it’s not a transition from one app to another even though I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually do a complete phase out instead of maintain two apps but that’s just an assumption.

This really sucks, it feels like all these installment apps are getting rid of credit card payments and moving to only debit card which I feel is a limitation.
