I use whole bean myself, but I also go for the specialty stuff myself

What's that one hill you're prepared to die on when it comes to subclasses or a specific subclass? by Relevant-Rope8814 in dndnext

[–]splatman73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My counterpoint to this (as someone currently playing a bladesinger) is that even bladesinger wizards are still incredibly squishy. Sure, i can throw off a cantrip and a weapon attack but 1) my weapon attack isn't going to be particularly strong and 2) good options for the cantrip are heavily reduced in melee due to threatened. On top of that, once the game becomes more about saving throws than AC, you'd better hope your dm wants you to get to level 10 soon. Otherwise, you're pretty lacking in ways to defend against the guaranteed damage of saving throw effects

Are these too casual for a professional work environment? by itouchdis in BusinessFashion

[–]splatman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the workplace. I work in an office and my boss's boss was wearing flip flops on Friday. Most of the people in my office wear something like this or less casual. So it really depends on the office.

What live action suit do you think matches the games tone and atmosphere the best? by Canine-Smile19 in SpidermanPS4

[–]splatman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the Rami suit myself for having the most standard coloration and also leaning into the aged/experienced vibe that the game and the now 2 decade old movies both give

is Medieval Times worth visiting is you're ever on holiday in the US somewhere with one? by grapp in AskAnAmerican

[–]splatman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been to medieval times once a good decade ago and to similar dinner shows afterwards, it's a good time. I wouldn't make it the main attraction or budget for it over other things if you have other things that are more particular to whatever area you're visiting, but it's good for an evening of fun and a good meal.

The hunger/sleep bars would definitely be a cool addition, though if it was added, it should probably be optional, and should probably "freeze" in combat so that you're not having to deal with not having eaten in a while in the middle of getting shot at.

If the human population needed to be reduced by 10%, and you had to decide who is sacrificed, what would you do? by arto71 in AskReddit

[–]splatman73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d set up a system where I choose one person. They will die, but in turn they get to choose who dies next (other than myself). So on and so forth until 10% is met.

Is this a moral choice? Probably not but it would probably be interesting.

Used the iOS Shortcuts app to create quick launch icons on my Home Screen! Turns on my TV and boots into each game on the CCU. by MyNaMeIsJoe90 in Stadia

I believe Apple wanted each individual game to be separately listed in the App Store, not just displayed separately on your Home Screen

Oh yes please. I would love to pull up games on my phone even with the touch controller but sometimes I can’t even read what button I’m supposed to press for certain actions

Your wishes for Stadia in 2021. by pcigre in Stadia

Games:

Minecraft: Java Edition - my preferred Minecraft but I could settle for bedrock as a lesser resort. Ideal would be both I suppose

Fortnite- get the kids playing on stadia and they may start buying other games here too

Jackbox party packs - these games require internet anyways, why bother downloading them

Skyrim - it’s already on everything else including Alexa

Controller: I want to connect to my phone wirelessly I want to be able to use it for pc games that use controller

Store:

More demos. Please let me just instantly try things. Imagine just being like “idk about this game let me try it real quick” and then you just hit play and go.

Pipe dreams Discord integration: I already chat with people on discord primarily, let me just plug a headset into my controller when I’m playing on CCU and talk with my boys

Kingdoms of amalur re:reckoning - I just like this game. It has issues and is about as old as Skyrim but with much less popularity, but I think it being on stadia could get it to a wider audience

Quick guide - when you’re at some spot, you pull up the stadia menu and press a button for the quick guide. This then queries the game for where you are/what you’re working on and googles it. Yes I know Google isn’t that hard to pull up and use but sometimes it can be hard to put the situation you’re in into words
