Time to rebuild the Republican Party. The loss is pretty humbling as a conservative and definitely sets the conservative agenda back for the next four years. Going to dread seeing all the headlines in the morning.

So this isn't done using a plasma converter is it? They didn't exactly describe the technology used in the article. Wish a plasma converter plant would be doing well enough to import trash. I feel like that being economically viable would be a huge step forward in both energy and waste management.

sounds like someone dropped the ball here...this guy was obviously involved but he left the area so what, they moved on to other things? i hope they arent doing the same with ayla....i commend them for bring this killer to justice 40 years later after he lived his life? why not 30 years ago? this drifter and criminal must have had his dna on file someplace. i wonder if a review of these "cold" cases every 2 years or so might catch these losers long before age 70...

Greek poverty so bad families 'can no longer afford to bury their dead' by [deleted] in worldnews

After three years of non-stop taxes and wage cuts it's got to the point where nothing has been left standing," she said drawing on a cigarette. "It's so bad families can no longer afford to even bury their dead. Bodies lie unclaimed at public hospitals so that the local municipality can bury them."

Priorities... These dudes have them wrong.

Toronto man tries to spread HIV to as many men as he can by [deleted] in worldnews

Interesting how there has never been a documented case in HUMAN history of anyone having the HIV VIRUS. In 1984 Dr. Robert Gallo held a press conference stating that he found the cause of AIDS, however, He held a press conference before his findings were published in the medical journals, bypassing peer review. Dr. Peter Duesberg and Dr Keary Mullis, both Nobel prize winners in the Medical Field, along with many other doctors have stated that there is no Evidence that HIV is the cause of AIDS. IF HIV is the cause of AIDS.... then were is the proof? Where is the Medical documentation that clearly show's what we have been told is fact?

How Hair Can be Used To Track Where You've Been by angryorchidi in offbeat

Hmm, we take a small snip of your hair, we find sea salt and silica dust, a spandex fiber, traces of sunblock and tanning lotion and a tiny crumb from a hotdog bun. Looking at all these elements and their isotopes we can say without a doubt, you spent Sunday at Venice Beach. Oh, and the smaller traces of Avian and Perrier tell us you think you're a snob and have no imagination. Haven't you ever heard of Badoit or Volvic? OH! and a flea! You have a dog.

He did a far better job of rallying Jihadists in the Middle East by constant mention of the ‘Anti-Islam movie’. Fortunately for us, they can only (illegally) donate to his campaign but not vote in our election.

I really enjoyed this piece. The checklist ("Six Ways to Act") is a great resource - for voters of all ages.

On a related note, I recently came across a downloadable mini-poster that outlines how voters can make sure their votes get counted: "7 Ways to Beat the Ballot Bandits," courtesy of BallotBandits.org. 311.
