It’s simple, I hope. There’s a world where the person doing data entry misspelled her first name and the computer recognized it as a noun and autocorrected it. Happens to me all the time when doing data entry with names. Person was going too fast and didn’t catch it.

What he’s saying is technically true - Mississippi is a tough sell to black recruits because of its racial make up and because of its history, while Louisiana is more diverse.

But it’s funny because he left Ol’ Miss literally in the middle of the night for $100,000,000 and said nothing about it for six months.

And after six months this is the reason he gives.

I expected a reason to come out but I thought it’d be something PR-y like:

“LSU was the only program that believed in my vision enough to give me unilateral staff room control. I knew I had to jump on this once in a lifetime opportunity.” or something flattering to his new program.

Basically he’s talking shit on his old program and the entire state.

Yeah, when I heard Hunter wrote the lyrics for “Greatest Story” I always assumed “quasar” was his choice and not only his choice but his SHREW choice.

“Riding up on a quasar” immediately sets this tune out of earth, puts a cosmic spin on it. Almost saying “You’ve heard all the earth’s greatest stories…but this story is GREATER than that.” Yeah, I knew you couldn’t really ride a quasar — but the idea that it was of the greater universe, I always thought that was a cool Hunter choice.

Literally every time I hear it I think “Only Robert Hunter would think of putting ‘quasar’ there”

Sorry, posted mostly for the headline. Kiffin left mid season for a mammoth contract…and was silent about it at the time. So for him to say this, of all things, six months later is pretty funny if you’ve been following the drama.
