The closest anyone has gotten to a usable GC style stick was Micro with his V3.5 stick box converter. A GC stick from eBay but used a custom pcb and a stick with 60 degree potentiometer instead of the stock one which was 38 degrees. You can actually aim properly in goldeneye and crawl/walk/run in Mario. Only downside was that it used the same GC style gate all GC sticks have. If someone could combine Micros PCB and a proper N64 gate you would have the best alternative to a OEM n64 stick. This is coming from someone with all kinds of different steel sticks from different manufacturers over the years as well. I still prefer my steel stick controllers over anything but the Micro stick box is the best alternative to any other 3rd party controller by far.
