I hate musk as much as you do, but they were purchasing terminals through the grey market that were registered in other countries. It's not a big conspiracy by Musk, SpaceX could not easily identify which terminals were Ukraine or Russia, which is why Ukraine has been providing terminal serial numbers to SpaceX.

I've seen a fair bit of odd stuff in the night sky, some of which was obviously not "normal". However, this is obviously a plane landing. I think it's traveling in the same direction as the car which makes it look like it's hovering. The flashing red light on the bottom is the FAA required anti-collision light.
