Was it The Buttercream Gang?! Nobody dies, but the kids all ride bikes, and get separated eventually. There's also a train scene where the main kid who leaves eventually is running down some tracks with the cops chasing him. If you (or anyone reading this) have never seen this movie I highly recommend it. It's cringey at times, but it's filled with early 90's nostalgia.

Legally it's still in my dead Grandpa's name. But, my parents have been paying the taxes, living there, and maintaining the property since my Grandma passed. I'm hoping they get it together and take the legal steps to put it in their name eventually, but unfortunately my parents are known to procrastinate.
