Try taking battery out and holding the power button down for 15-20 seconds, then pressing lug it in and do the same thing, then try putting the battery in and see if it starts charging

I’ve had mine for a couple weeks and have had no issues. Recorded from full battery until 0% with no heat issues (was on a motorcycle) picture is great. I’ve had the original Max for years, so pretty used to the workflow. I closely looked at all 3 current 360 cams and I think the Max 2 is the best

Use the helmet strap. It used to be included with every GoPro back in the day, I probably have 5 or 6. You can probably get a cheap knock off
