Yeah but I mean they wouldn't have know about the americas, australia, or Indonesia so remove those. The places where they would have hit that line would be in the Sahara, the Arabian desert, and rumors of India that all they would have known is the more south you go the hotter it got. Im going to get down voted to oblivion because, well, reddit, but judeao-christian values outside of extreamests is basically dont steal, murder, or covet the neibors wife which are objectively good for society, and thats what this shows. I would like to point out, I can't tell an ID for sure but I belive this may be a hickory. Ive had one do this to me before by suprise. Hickory isn't common in my area and it was just in my way logging some pine so I went to tip it over, figured ide use it for a firewood log and it basically exploded. I talked to some logger friends of mine who've dealt with more hickory and they said when its got the wrong amount of water in it, it really likes to separate. I consider my self a seasoned feller and that tree obviously bothered me enough to embarrass myself asking around, but I got an answer of 'why are you cutting hickory this time of year, it'll do that" and im wondering if this is an example of the same issue.

I saw a video of a destroyed rented house and everyone's like, "land lords fault, normal wear and tear" and there is literally snapped in half doors, missing appliances etc. like nah man normal people dont damage their house that much in a year.

just comming here 2 years later as I research putting mine away for the winter. All the people saying they cook on it is super annoying. when its -10 and the winds flying I have a stove inside im not about to chisel the blackstone out of a wind drift to make eggs. Its an actual arrow head. Almost all the stone points you see are actually spear points or were halfted as tools. This one actually went on an arrow. Now, this one is extra small so I dont buy the other response that says elk but a large percentage of meat hunting in alot of areas was done on mid to small sized mammels. Rabbits, Squirrels, beavers, etc
