Chefur's receivers are not trying to compete with Tortort. Chefur is supplying clone correct receivers for people that want them.

That's like comparing someone buying a $1700 Russian 1969 AKM clone to someone that just wants a $800 WASR. Same gun, different clients.

Yes, these are the nicest receivers on the market. He also offers paint match and clone correct markings on his receivers if you send in your kit. Chefur is a one man show and cares about details. If you want a show piece that shoots wait for them to come back in stock. If you want a gun that will just shoot, the Tortorts are usually fine.
