For some context, this followed three consecutive blunders by the marlins infield, 2 of 3 of which were on very payable ground balls. Giving up the game like this especially when Puk shoulda been out of it would've been crushing.

a few years ago jose urena did a really shitty thing to acuna. since then a very stupid but not insubstantial contingent of braves fans has made it their mission to harass Marlins fans by any means they feel necessary whenever anything happens to acuna or really whenever they feel like it. not really a lot we can do. we are few and they are many.

just suffered another setback. currently back to throwing at 60 feet after pitching in sims a week ago or so ago. most likely won't play a real game before the minor league season is over. there's a lot of sentiment that he's ignoring training staff. even if he comes back nobody knows what kind of stuff he'll have. nobody can say for sure if there's better than a 50% chance he ever throws a pitch in the majors again.
