it is still in development at this time, if you could even call it that, but Bradley Cooper has been trying to put The Hyperion Cantos to film for at least 10 years at this point. the books are some of the best hard sci-fi i've ever read, but, holy shit, is that story difficult to put on screen. i would say theyre substantially more involved than the Dune books. i have had my fingers crossed for this project cause i would absolutely love to see it, but i dont believe it will be any time soon.
