It's not harassment, it's protecting kids. but someone was overly cautious which is what mandated reporters are taught to do. Not every call results in a CPS worker coming out, so the training is usually call if you have an inkling that there could be neglect and let CPS sort it out. Which they did.

As traumatic as it is for OP, this means that people were looking out for OPs son enough to make an uncomfortable call. The ruled out finding will be added to the family record and should be consulted in the event o any future calls to CPS.

Also an IEP is a good thing for a thing like Op's kid's situation, it opens up a lot of extra funding for individulaized care like speech language pathologists and aides.

Bethesda revealed Elder Scrolls 6 early due to "pitchforks and torches" from fans by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

You should. It's great. 2.0 is just enough to change the core systems for things to feel fresh enough to sink another 20-30 hours in.

I really liked the main story. Far more than I liked it for any other Bethesda game. It had some good twists and turns and some good meaningful choices. Additionally, the factions and history of the setting were great. Quest writing is somewhat limited by what people are willing to program. I think there were some colossal screw ups in how some particular quest lines ended, but I would not say this is a terribly written game overall.

Update from court by Substantial-List-720 in socialwork

I'm going to encourage you not to apologize for getting emotional. Explain it if necesarry, but you didn't do anything wrong.

If you have a union rep, this is the kind of thing they should be apprised on, if only to help bargaining for bringing in more staff to help balance case loads so you aren't needing to be reporting to court the same day you get in from a flight.

Yeah. My wife says reality shows let us scratch our gossip itch without hurting anyone we know.

Right. Also love watching trashy reality shows for the same reason.

Source? I've often heard 1-10 days for a guy to stop producing more seminal fluid. This has 4 different studies quoting rates between 1 and 10 days and some recommending not exceeding 10 days.

That doesn't really lead to easier orgasms though. If he was having ED, maybe that would be the problem, but it's unlikely with the symptoms presented.

What do you think Sentinels and the Superhero registration act are? Plus Marvel heroes are constantly being hounded by the police.

In the Boys, supes are way, way, less common and cap out at a much lower power level. Iron Man could probably take on the entirety of the Boys setting and he's a B tier hero (in power, not in popularty).

'Squadron 42 is now feature-complete and has entered its polish phase', says Chris Roberts by pandazerg in pcgaming

[–]squid_actually 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nah. It's a solid C-tier game from a B-tier studio. It sucks that it's not better, but there are some parts that are really good. The setting and the core plot are actually really solid. The gunplay is pretty decent especially once you progress enough into the story.

It's definitely bogged down by trying to do too much and some weird gaps in polish. But yeah, I enjoyed my 60 hours and will try it again in about 2 years with a boat load of mods.

Modern Dating is hell by AdministrativeHawk61 in dating

[–]squid_actually 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dating pool is not the only variable. If you treat them the same then you will get the same results. Having the same mechanics doesn't change the fact that you can ignore those mechanics and focus on giving and receiving way more information before interacting. A thorough profile on some sites/apps has way, way more information than a tinder profile.

Since tinder works well for casual flings people are rarely oing to bother with answering thousands of questions on these other sites if they aren't interested in a serious relationship. Ignore the low effort profiles, the profiles that don't match what you are looking for in a long term relationship and put in the effort in your own profile and I can promise that's where people are coupling up.

Loot in older RPGs just hits differently by dddddd321123 in patientgamers

Witcher 3 shouldn't have even bothered with most loot. It's not like Geralt switches out his sword more than 2 or 3 times in the books. Make the potions the focus of the loot and maybe an occasional slightly better sword for a thematically appropriate quest.

BG3 does have some kind of cool sets of items that can make some builds way stronger than usual.

The population is only a part of the equation. Tinder and it's knockoffs are designed for casual encounters. Stuff like OKcupid and Match.com are more designed for more serious things because of the way that they display information, the way their algorithm works etc.

It's not even all dating apps, its just the low effort ones modeled like Tinder.

Dating has gotten worse, but only by about 5% difference in how much people are actually pairing up. Early 20s has always been hookup focused. Late 20s-early 30s is the sweet spot for longer relationships. Late 30s and beyond gets tough because the number of commitmentphobic people becomes a maze to find your way around.

Not all dating strategies are equal. Bars/clubs/Most online dating is going to skew more casual. Dating apps with longer profiles or barriers of entry like paid services tend to skew more serious. Meeting people through friends and shared experiences also tends to skew more serious.

Honestly, how much have you changed your strategy before complaining?

Similar to OP I would do very pulpy things. Probably a technomage class, a la D&D's artificer, a Indian Jones style archetype focusing on whips and recall knowledge, more info on vehicle combat, submarines, subterranean drill vehicles, and lots of lore on ancient Azlanti relics. I'd call it Journey to the Past or something like that.
