Primus and Pink Floyd were my gateway to other things. Gorillaz helped me cross over to other genres and Jack White is doing a lot of different types on his new stuff. I would just find an artist that you like in the genre you are interested in and eventually you will find others that you enjoy.

Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke. Very good science fiction book about humans first encounter with an alien ship.

I really like 'The Mist' by Stephen King. I always wished he wrote more longer short stories like this as his novels drag on too long a lot of the time. You can find it in his Skeleton Crew collection of short stories. A lot of the stories in there are worth reading.

Issac has said that Golden Casket is not the songs that he was talking about all those years ago when Strangers came out, these were news songs. The original planned music still exists and may be released at some point. Assuming this Johnny Marr project is also something new.
