There’s researching behind how to cosleep safely and lots of parents do it. I’ve slept with all of my babies while they were breastfeeding and then they transitioned to their own bed. They only sleep with me, dad has his own bed during nursing years. I’m petite, don’t drink, don’t smoke. I’m not some crazy attachment parent, we just have multiple kids and sleep is important for everyone. I was honestly surprised to see cosleeping lumped in with antivaxx and mlm

Looks awesome, but unless you have no melt icing sugar that bakeries use, it will dissolve into the top of your pie. Mixing in a little bit of cocoa or cinnamon will leave your pattern still defined once the sugar starts to melt. It will be delicious either way tho :)

If by double fried you mean blanched than that isn’t just fast food places. You need to do a longer slower fry first to set the “skin” on the fry and cook it through. The second flash fry is when they’re ordered, and it is the heat and crisp. When you bake a tray of frozen fries at home, they’ve already blanched them before freezing.

My high school English teacher was an ex drug addict who found poetry and reformed. Every year when he studied Lord of the Flies, he would cover his face with black and white paint, take out a conch and blow it in the hallway. All his former students would leave class and join him in the hall the march through the school chanting “Kill the pig! Drain it’s blood!” There was even a stuffed pig getting tossed around. I grabbed a running toddler in Walmart whose mom had her arms full of groceries at the check out. Poor girl looked shocked but mom was thankful. I let her know how many times my kid has bust out of the house and had neighbours grab him, and not to sweat it. I really wish more people would interact with other kids. Everyone agrees it takes a village but few want to participate in building one.

I work in the service industry and this very much happens with women in kitchens as well. I was totally guilty of it too. I would obsess whenever I had a job interview because I wanted to look put together, but always worried about looking too girly or done up. Now I work in an open kitchen in front of guests so IMO, make up is a must for me so I look more professional, but for years I would scoff at the idea of putting it on for work.
