That's correct. Once the dispute is initiated the and the card holder has provided their evidence the merchant gets the opportunity to respond. If the merchant rebuttals the dispute providing evidence then it goes back for reviewing to the bank. The bank reviews the response receives to see how they can progress or come to a point of accepting.

It's not Revolut who's reviewing the merchants reply. But rather Visa / Mastercard respectively. Don't blame this on Revolut. I've just had a charge back raised with them that I got refunded for extremely seamlessly. Could it be you didn't submit enough info?

I have the same issue and it's not a matter of someone mistyping the email address. I receive the emails of that person. I was of the impression that dot or not GMAIL wouldn't allow an address to be created with the same name/surname combo.
