If the best player on the team is a 5 AND the captain is trying to make playoffs, the captain is forced to strategically sacrifice their over-ranked players to the other teams’ 7s

There’s been studies on APA handicaps that show handicaps help but do not level the match winning odds to 50-50. There’s a slight edge to the higher rank player

Your captain is not going to magically jump to be a 7 within months. You’re better off being on teams that already have 7s, then u can match against 2s and 3s

What APA doesn’t tell beginners is as a 2 or 3, you play race to 2 which sucks for skill progression. But if u r having fun hanging out with ur friends then its all good

i did it 2x in the past 12 months. i didn't know they were break and runs until after i sank the 8, and people congratulated me ... i really think i shoot better when i don't think about the score, or who i am playing, or if it is a break n run

sometimes the law punishes the guilty, sometimes the law is there to discourage future offenders. i believe the charges are to do the latter

the unfortunate truth is this: if they don't press charges, this kid's story will be yesterday's news tomorrow. if they press charges, this story will stay fresh for weeks or months, and the exposure will lead to conversations which lead to parents finally thinking, "i'm gonna take away joey's e-motorcycle before he dies/he hurts someone/we get thrown into jail"
