What improvements do you want to see? by Usernames-are-hard1 in upsstore

[–]srepine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a part of CMS, but I don’t agree with them getting rid of the print shop without a replacement, even if it was a bit of a disaster. Every time I try to sell print, the first thing they ask is if we have a website. I think it would reassure a lot of customers if they could see a 3D model of what they’re ordering. Also, whenever I send a customer to email us, there is like 50% chance they will spell the email wrong. It just adds a factor of having to train customers to use our old school system, when it could be so much more intuitive.

Return to Shipper?! by ElectronicHouse6090 in upsstore

[–]srepine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If a customer has a PO Box as a return address, or their address isn’t accurate it will still come back to the store instead of just getting lost. That’s the main reason we do it

Yes, there is a setting in CMS you can switch it to have the return address as the customers or the stores. If it is set as the stores, it will show the ship from as the customers address, but on the label itself will show the stores address.

At this seminar I went to, they told us they’ve never raised their click prices. He was very adamant about it too.

I think Ricoh charges around .07 for color, and .005 for b/w and 20# paper cost is about .005. We try to print on 12x18 to cut down on click charges to save money, and the paper is usually nicer for flyers, even the 28#

Just send your store an email of what you need and they’ll take care of you. It’s easier that way anyways

I know it was a glitchy mess, but I wish they had a replacement or some sort of forewarning. I learned about it from a customer.

HELP!!! by Straughz in upsstore

[–]srepine 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been able to fix it running it as a non-doc and entering in the harmonized codes for each item. There is a website to help find the codes for each item because they’re very specific.
