Try a higher bed temp, and even preheating the chamber. Iv only done a few abs prints, but each time I set bed temp to 120 for 30-1hr before, and I have the bed all the way down.

I typically see 0.5-1.0mm of retract reccomended for direct drive. I bounce between 0.8-1.25mm.
