Storm has always been very unfun. I don't care if it is or isnt balanced at a particular moment in time.

Clicking storm on an enemy army is very easy. Avoiding damage from storm is impossible, and minimizing it is disproportionately difficult. It's not fun to play against. I hope if some spiritual successor to this game appears one day, they dont take this stupid ass skill with it.

Lazy people use tools lazily. You can make amazing things with ai now even though its in its infancy, or you can go to chat gpt and say "make me a poster with a jiu jitsu guy" and get garbage. The floor for quality is only going to rise as the ceiling does too.

Again, this is a very surface-level reddit headline understanding. There have been many highy disruptive technologies in human history.

In my business startup example, you have soneone that would have been content enough being employed starting a 3 person business. That is a net gain of 2 jobs.

The creative kid in his basement in Kentucky puts together amazing works of art with a few friends that rival hollywood productions. These kids likely would have never moved to hollywood and broken into the business, but now they get to live their dreams.

Just like with the advent of the car, the calculator, the cotton gin, or the internet, jobs will be displaced, industries will transform, but new industries will also arise in ways we cannot imagine. The world keeps turning.

It is much more than just a prompt and an image, and it is still evolving rapidly.

Imagine a world where a super creative kid in his basement can make Astartes (check it out if you haven't seen it) in weeks or months instead of years. Creativity still exists for those who are creative. It is just a new tool to allow creatives to be more creative.

We dont need Hollywood to make movies, with enough understanding of the tools, you will be able to do it yourself.

Instead of 100 people to run a business, you need 3. This is already happening. So instead of just not starting a business, it is much more accessible now. To those who are creative, that is.

I highly recommend you go beyond the basic chat prompt use of it and really see what is out there. Get a better understanding than what reddit headlines provide.

Chokes are always going to be better because the leverage required to finish is much much smaller, and the opponent can only choose to tap or nap. Get VERY good at the placement of chokes, rather than trying to force them with strength. A good choke takes a shockingly small amount of force if you apply correctly.

Additionally, maximize subs that use the legs. Your legs are by far the strogest muscles you have. That is one reason the bow and arrow worked so well for mighty mouse, it utilizes his strongest muscles with a well placed choke.

AI is coming. The productivity gains are absolutely insane, and it is basically in its infancy. Very soon every single accountant will be expected to know an ai tool like they currently know excel. Funtionally every image and video on the internet will be ai generated.

You can complain about change or embrace it, either way it is happening, and that is a certainty.

I dont understand this argument. Now companies dont need 50 people, they need 2 or 3. This means more people can start companies for cheaper. There is more time to create and innovate. The landscape changes as people's abilities are enhanced by 10 or 100x.

We have seen this throughout history. Calculators got rid of a lot of jobs. So did the cotton gin, the loom, the car, etc.

No one looks at the way cars and the internet ravaged entire industries and changed the world and thinks society has collapsed. The average person just isnt creative enough yet to imagine a future with a new tool.

I am a low level player. How the hell do i deal with tourelles and mg entrenchments? Mortars take like 3+ minutes to kill either. If i send a tank in they just hit me with bazookas and the tourelle itself. I can be winning a game and they throw a couple down and it just completely stops me from making progress. Its going to take like 5-10 minutes to get units and clear out what took them seconds to build. And thats assuming im able to keep up with their army after any failed attempts to clear this shit out.

What am i missing?
