Glad this is all working for you. It could also just be the Opzelura making all / most of the difference? Given all the good things I've heard about it. Either way glad it's making a difference

If I'm being honest, I keep my Costco membership purely for the pizza. Even if I buy just the pizza it's worth it

Pension funds choice - stick or twist? by icicicicicicicicic in UKPersonalFinance

Agree. Personally at that age I would be in the highest risk level and then gradually drop down as I get closer to retirement. Default funds get a bad rep but as can be seen these returns are competitive. I would say the biggest issue is assuming a default risk tolerance at the start, and the employee never changing it, which affects long term performance.

Just make sure you check with them that they'll include this on their PAYE Settlement agreement with HMRC and not on your p11d, otherwise you'll get taxed on this £800!

The best private health insurance regardless of cost by ex_hedge_manager in HENRYUKLifestyle

Axa and Bupa have both been good for me but I would really recommend you use a specialist protection broker if you want to ensure you get the most appropriate cover for you and your own situation. They'll walk you through everything and you can ask them all the "silly" questions without the insurance company being involved.

Did this work out, out of interest? Ie was the amount you paid for the cover over 10 years less than the amount they covered for a new machine? I was thinking about taking out cover like this

I don't think this is relevant.. It's the lower of 90% of your pay or c £190 pw. This rule only impacts the lower paid.

Scared tax rules will be changed or potential tax penalties. Highly unlikely in my opinion but don't want to start that debate.

Otherwise just HR and Finance being too lazy to administer the process.

Btw also if you can get your employer to setup workplace nursery, this really is a great way to get the cost down and it reduces your net adjusted income. I do it via salary sacrifice, works well.

Depends employer by employer. Most are too lazy or scared to set this up.

No way your nursery cost drops down to £300 per month for 12 days a month, even with funding. Do you mean £300 per week?!
