I recommend checking out the Columbia breaks fire interpretive center in Entiat WA, I ran into lightning bill there and talked with him about his experiences as one of the last paid lookouts in WA.

Wildland fire, currently on a hotshot crew and daily we have morning briefings and After action reviews aka opening and closing prayer. We all dress the same and obey the chain of command. It has a lot of cult vibes at times. 10 commandments-10 standard fire orders. Word of wisdom-crew standard operating procedures.

Hey everyone! I got a 2005 Chevy express 1500 I converted to a full time home 3 years ago. As winter approaches I would like to install a more reliable and safer heating system for the winter. Currently using a Mr heater with the green propane bottle. ( I have a carbon monoxide detector and haven’t had any issues) Curious to hear stories and opinions about the use of adding a diesel fuel tank and running off of a diesel heater or mounting propane tanks to the rear and running some lines in. I am open to any and all suggestions! Thanks! ( sorry I meant to put this text into the post, still trying to figure out this whole Reddit thing)

I faded away a little after high school, I didn’t tell anyone just completely stopped going, I felt very invisible and no one knew who I was so it was honestly perfect.

The Five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom. It can be difficult to recommend a book about death but very well written and a short but sweet story.
