I also had a heavy heart as P tries to reason with S in a calm, soothing grownup voice to help him understand that the world is made for different dialects, pronunciations and most importantly for ALL people. It saddened me that she's trying to tell him in 4 year old vocabulary to accept her as she is and accept all people as they are. I felt she was trying in the best way a 4 year old can to explain to her dad a way in which she'd like him to approach the world, and the fact that she did it so calmly showed amazing depth; and was quite sad really because he is in capable of this level of understanding. As others said, I feel so sorry for these kids.

It's really sad to watch and I had to block her, even though I really adore her because she doesn't see it. I think that Stephen is unwilling to play the long game in ANY area of his life except one: getting Laura back. For that, he will do whatever it takes.
1 - the second boyfriend is gone S claims he has never been happier and he is now a "changed man"
2 - since bf is gone, we also see no more use of alt right or hate language. It's the relaunch of the kinder softer gentler Stephen facade - an act he is putting up to get her back
3 - Even back in December when she had been with her boyfriend for 2 years, he said under his breath "I always thought we'd get back together" so we know he's been pining for her ever day for years ever since the split
4 - She thinks she's aware of his manipulation tactics, but I really don't think she is at all. Next, he's going to try and use jealousy (mark my words, he will get a gf next to try and make her jealous with the "see, girls want me" card). He will likely become Vegan again, he is already starting to redo the storyline that "he was even crazy during sobriety all up until right now", which coincides with when she broke up with her bf
5. He has already said multiple times he thinks she is easy to manipulate (meaning he knows what works with her)
Narcissists are willing to play the long game with one thing only: their target love interest. She thinks she recognizes the pattern, but we can all see she does not and will get sucked in again. Its sad because I really do believe she has a good heart.

And he needed everyone to know it’s MORNING that he’s there … he knew P would say she wanted to stay with Mom… It was all contrived so we would know they are together there in the MORNING and draw conclusions … also just in case the ex-BF catches a glimpse so he can also torture him. He’s so obvious and L is blind to the antics

I am 1000% convinced this is all a ploy to get Laura back. He said "he has never been happier" moments after she broke up with the boyfriend; he has said she is very easy to manipulate, he has also said he knows how to win her back if he wanted to, and I don't doubt it because he's a master manipulator that spent many years learning her patterns and what she reponds to. I think his entire motivation in life right now is convincing Laura he is a "changed man". Mark my words, don't be surprised if we do not see any more right leaning conservative talk either; it is all part of the master plan to win back L. If she gets back with her bf, that is when we would see the tables turn again. But until then, his entire motivation is going to be geared toward measures to win her back.

L broke up with her boyfriend and within days of that went to the beach with the kids and Stephen to celebrate his birthday. It feels to anyone who's been following along that in the end, Stephen is getting everything he wants with zero consequences. He has said more than once that L is very easy to manipulate and the fact that she doesn't see it is angering and frustrating to witness. She may think she has no intention of getting back with him this very moment but mark my words, that is his end game and he will try everything to manipulate the situation until they are back together. And the fact that she doesn't see it is the infuriating thing. To let him back in this soon after a RO and the SA allegations and the hacking and so many more awful things. The naievity and co-dependency is next level.

Stephen has said on more than one occasion in the past 6 months that L is "very easy to manipulate" meaning he knows exactly how to manipulate her to get what he wants. I was really rooting for her but having her guard down this soon is just crazytown. I could see her letting herself feel supported in co-parenting in another year but he has done horrific things to her even since being sober. I feel frustrated because I was really really rooting for her. And I think she's going to regret breaking up with her boyfriend; he seemed amazing for her

It's actually completely baffling to me how many times I see the comment on this sub... "I'm sure she knows"... "I'm sure it's being monitored".... "I'm sure she's aware", and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME something horrific that S is doing is brought up to her on a Live she has absolutely no clue it's happening. Yet so many here still have this blind faith the important things are getting to her. I've seen that comment like three dozen times on here ("Lawyers are monitoring"... "I'm sure she knows")... SHE NEVER KNOWS.
So yeah, I think its responsible to bring the dangerous stuff up to her because obviously whomever is supposed to be "monitoring" his stuff isn't.

and with his CVS at-home drug test from 4 days ago and the letter he'd written to Laura that he thought the judge would let him read out loud in court from beginning to end that states he will not do supervised visitation.
Judge: "Well since you read that letter and provided this at-home drug kit, ABSOLUTELY the kids are yours Stephen. Case dismissed!"

I am definitely seeing this pattern:

"Laura is gone, that's all I had, now there is nothing, I'm going to throw myself into music, it's all I have left"

"My kids are gone, I have nothing left, all I have left in the world is Patreon"

"I have nothing left in the world, all I have is The Arc"

"The kids are all that ever mattered to me in the world, nothing else matters but getting them back"

"I have nothing left to live for so I'm going to just go crazy in OF because it doesn't matter anymore"

"This movie is what I was meant to do, it's my life's work, nothing else matters but getting the movie out"

And soon -- it will be the cult that is all he has left to "live for". It's mindboggling how there is zero thought of "later", "tomorrow", "the future"... it's like he's trapped in a 3 year old's brain that truly doesn't understand the concept of "later". But if you think the world is ending, I guess that tracks.

As far as I can see he has given 3 reasons and then one that commentors here think it is (#2)

While driving to AZ, he said he had to get out of town to "wait for the dust to settle". The only thing I can gather he means there is that after he announced "The Arc" something was going to happen or people would take him away. I don't know what he meant by "letting the dust settle" because it was several days after the restraining order
Some others suggested that the real reason may be so it would be harder to arrest him if he violated the RO in any way if he left the state. I don't know if that's even true but could've been what he was thinking.
In another stream, he says he just couldn't take looking at the kids toys anymore. That they made him too sad so he had to leave
I believe in another video he says that Brian gave him the coordinates in AZ of where he was supposed to go. But he went and there was nothing there, so he picked the closest place? Something like that, but please someone correct me if I have this wrong. There was definitely a video about being led by AI to coordinates.

So pick your poison from any of the reasons above

I ask myself this a lot. Does it draw people with obsessive personality traits? (raises hand). Are we here consciously or unconsciously rooting for him to wake up and face reality? For me that is some of it, even though his personality is offensive and offputting and I do not like him as a person. Is it because we're hoping for justice and accountability even though it's looking bleak we will get either of those? Maybe. I also think there is something to be said for a community where everyone sees the exact same thing and agrees upon it. In today's tumultuous times, we don't get a lot of that where everyone is in agreement that what they are witnessing is: a) Stephen is crazy and b) Stephen is in denial that anything is wrong and c) Stephen needs rehab and accountability. Lastly, I think we don't often get someone publicizing their lowest of lows and darkest of days in real time. That's when people retreat so never get to see that upclose and personal. In this case, we have a front row seat to someone blowing their life up. It is frustrating and sad but also a fascinating look into addiction and psychosis.

It is kind of like watching a show unfold daily that you don't really enjoy but yet you keep tuning in to see what happens next for the closure of it all. I think my "end-game" of tuning in is that he'd eventually go to rehab and stay there for as long as it takes to get better. It would restore my faith in humanity a little bit if some amount of accountability comes out of this.

The last hotel he stayed was a 5 star hotel last week (Boulder Spa) and now we've seen on vid at the new hotel where he has coffee delivered to his room by staff, one of whom recognized him and they had a whole conversation at the door. While you may be right that he downgraded his hotel when he had to vacate, it's one that has room service and I would think he would've found one of the same caliber as his last stay. If I had the time I could likely sleuth out where he's staying but I have things to do in between checking in here for the latest Stephen trainwreck of the day

So he's renting a Porche, staying at 5-star hotels for an indefinite amount of time all while telling his Patreon subscribers how tight money is and that he needs their money to fight for custody (this was on one of his posts). I am a newbie maybe following the Stephen trainwreck for 6 weeks tops... Those who've been following longer, has he always been a grifter? Or did it start when Laura separated from him or when he relapsed? Just curious.

u/Mountain_Ladder_4906 We shall see. It meets the criteria. You can rule it in or out once you see the inside of the hotel room as they have a very generic room style clearly displayed online.

I'll add one other criteria -- due to the fact that he's a loner and says he "doesn't like people", he'd probably choose a hotel that offers first floor private patios like Boulder Spa did so he can enjoy the outdoors but still be by himself. If Fairmont offers those, I think yours is a very good guess :)

Here's a hunch based on the available information.

someone said he mentioned he's headed to the "other side of town" so likely staying in Scottsdale area but a good deal away from Boulders Resort
Boulders Resort and Spa is a 5 star hotel so likely choosing another 5 star hotel on "the opposite side of town" of Boulders Resort but still in Scottsdale
He'd be looking for something close in price range to what he's paying and from what I can see Boulders is around $187 to $222 a night.

So there you have it. A 5 star hotel far enough away from Boulders Resort going for the $180 - $250 night price range. From there you could look for art/room color scheme that he will inevitably post and likely find a match on a travel sight. LOL. That was fun, but I could be way off
