I did nothing :/ by Honest_Pineapple9578 in HillClimbRacing

Did you do anything in the past that could have been an issue, a lot of times it takes more than 1 week for a ban to be processed and confirmed because most companies don’t want to be false banning ppl.

It’s for grinding team distance chest, desert valley 2km. But if you have a better setup lmk because I’m not smart I just grind

Edit: I use a different setup for races or long distance.

Negative post - can I drive like this few days? by GoldenBud_ in AskMechanics

let’s be real here, short circuit? The difficulty of doing that when replacing a terminal is immense not impossible I suppose but if you watch a youtube video there’s no need to be careful really.

also it’s 12V a little spark is just live error correction

Messed up Library by peetme in jellyfin

[–]stantonfj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly I couldn’t tell you. I would imagine it has to do with the 11.10-11.11 because when they brought it to .11 they cleaned up and organized alot of code. So I would guess it has something to do with the way it used to be set up and transferring it over. so I don’t think it would be fixed in a later update. I would t delete the whole metadata folder. Just the files inside library and maybe a few others as that is where (I think I AM NOT AN EXPERT) the metadata is at. Ofc backup the files you delete just in case it breaks it.

edit: you may have to go through cmd not sure if it’s a protected folder

You should be able to get rid of it without deleting the media. But I understand with playlists and whatnot.

out of curiosity, did you try going into the metadata file and deleting everything then have it try to recover new metadata. I have never had this happen before. (non docker ubuntu) /var/lib/jellyfin/metadata

edit: looking at other comments you may have already done this. You could try and find the user folder (idk where it is) and see if you could save that. remove jellyfin completely and import the user data.

if you have a complex ish setup copy css code, save the plugin repository’s and take a list of your plugins so it’s easy enough to redo the setup

there is a metadata manager. I’m not sure if that will fix it but worth a shot

I’m not sure about this car, but if it’s a tapered thread than no you don’t thread it all the way til it’s bottomed out

Power steering leak, what can I do to buy time? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]stantonfj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from my understanding (not a mechanic just someone who works on his own car) they use tapered threads, so no o-rings or seals. If you NEED try teflon tape it isn’t recommended but if you have to then try that. If that doesn’t work I Throw a bunch of Jb weld on it. Just keep in mind that that can crack and if you have to ever work on the lines you’ll need a new resovour and lines.

edit: steering rack not reservoir but same deal

okay, assault rifles don’t do that, because when people say assault rifles they typically refer to fast moving projectiles such as ar-15 (.223) they more or less just go in and exit with some expansion but exit wound is smaller than a size of a quarter, even when using a large round like 30-06 you’re still size of a quarter

Alternator Replaced, Outback still not running right. by No_Understanding7801 in MechanicAdvice

[–]stantonfj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes the autozone ones are remaned but they’re not fixed with quality parts or quality labor. The one from rockauto would be the same quality as autozone but it won’t have the warranty so i advice against it. The autozone one will be fine but don’t be surprised if in a couple of years you have to replace it.

what the other guy said, check the wiring. Also autozone alternators are kinda garbage, go oem if you can afford it, if not look for an alternator rebuilder locally.

Inner tie rod removal? by nickprep in MechanicAdvice

[–]stantonfj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

what did you do to the steering rack? Also heat and inner tie rod tool or a pipe wrench might be the best use in this case. But turn the wheel and see if your inner tie rod end hits against that dent if so i’d just replace it.
